article sydication and article marketing

Hi

I am new to warriour forum and internet marketing. I have just being going through a number of forum threads mentioning article syndication and some EZA (which I do not know what is stands for). I have not been taken to a thread (presumably by Alexa Smith) where it is all explained for a newbie like me. I am getting confused, it seems like submitting articles to article directories like ezinearticles, etc, is a waste of time and one should be syndicating to among other EZA. I really would like to understand the difference between article syndication and article directory submissions.

thanks.

Not if you're using them for their intended purpose.

Submitting to them for the "benefit" of their own backlinks is pretty much a waste of time, and submitting to them for the "benefit" of their own traffic is even worse, and can actually hinder your business rather than helping it.

This post explains article syndication (very concise general overview of the entire process): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5035794

Thank You Alexa....what a valuable post. I think sometimes for many of us (like me) we become so busy that we start "going through the motions" and actually forget the real reason we do certain things, like article submission!Anyway thanks again and Happy Turkey day to everyone,I need to get reading now....

"EZA" is the generally used abbreviation for "Ezine Articles", the web's most well-known article directory.

It's called that because it was originally set up as (and still is!) a depository of "articles for ezines": don't get it confused with "an ezine", though - that's something completely different from an article directory.

An "ezine" is an "electronic magazine" which is sent out by email to its targeted subscribers. And some of the contents of "ezines" are taken and re-published (syndicated) from "Ezine Articles". (It's also for "website articles" as well, now, on the same principle - but it still retains the name "Ezine Articles").

It can be a little confusing, because there are many people online who actually use the word "Ezines" to refer to "article directories": just ignore them completely - they don't know what they're talking about.

Just to be sure. Is EZA same as ezinearticles.com. or not?

Yes EZA stands for ezinearticles.com abbreviated.
