PLEASE HELP!!! SYSTEM FIX VIRUS

Sounds like a hijacker and not a virus.

First, boot up in safe mode with networking (restart machine, and keep holding F8 while booting up. There are plenty of guides on how to boot up in safe mode.)

Get:

1)MalwareBytes
2)Spybot Search & Destroy
3)ComboFix

First, download and install these programs (all free, all very well respected and well-known in the anti-malware community),

Run full scans with both MalwareBytes and SpyBot, and "fix" any malware they detect. The programs will give you the option of deleting them("fixing" them). After that, restart your machine normally. Then run ComboFix - it will do its own thing automatically (it's basically an automatic rootkit killer). It will ask you to reboot afterwards. After that, you should be clean for the most part (some backdoors are virtually impossible to fully get rid of, there's the argument that once a machine is infected with certain trojans that it will never be 100% secure again.).

First, I am not a professional computer technician. These are the steps my computer tech told me to take. Search online for a program called rkill dot exe. Download the file and run it to stop the virus from running. Then download and run Microsoft Security Essentials (free) from the Microsoft web site (you will need to uninstall other anti-virus programs). Then go to iobit dot com and download and install Advanced System Care (the free version). Run that. Now your computer should be virus free. If there is adware or spyware on it, you also use Spybot Search & Destroy to locate and delete it. It is also free. Just search and download it. Be sure you follow instructions from the web sites that offer these programs.

Unfortunately, I am not a computer technician, so I cannot guarantee this will work, but it is the method I use for virus issues, and it has worked well for me.

Use another computer to download 2 small software, yet very powerful to fix your problem.
1. MalwareBytes Anti Malware
2. Trojan Remover

Put these 2 in a thumb-drive.

Then after you restart your infected PC, you have a window of 5 to 10 minutes to install both software.

They will install very quickly.

RUN BOTH OF THEM.

You'll notice your infected PC will not shut down again by the malware virus.

If you noticed a lot of your files missing, your files are actually made HIDDEN by the malware virus.

You have to unhide the files folder by folder and file by file. Right click each folder or file, then select properties. Then unselect the HIDDEN radio button.
