In the past few months I have been thinking a lot about when I first started IM, and I realized what my two "biggest" problems were when it came to being as efficient as possible in the IM world (and all of the world too I guess haha)...
I decided to post it in an effort to save from of you guys too :-D
1) Jumping From One Project To The Next... Over And Over!
By far, one of my biggest problems, especially in IM, has been that I would jump from one project to the next project to the next project over and over again... I am sure that you can all think of times that you have done this...
Maybe you try Adsense, and then try promoting affiliate products via Adwords, then Squidoo, then offline marketing, and so on and so on...
This is what most people new to IM fall into... I SURE did fall into this when I first started ahah... Don't!
Or maybe you start one website, then start another one, then another, then another... without ever finishing (and launching) the first one... (I still sometimes fall into this catagory...)
Sure, in the end you WILL launch all of the websites, but it will take much longer, and because of that it will cost you a lot when you get to your bottom line... Trust me, I learned this the hard way early on
2) Thinking Too Much About Your Current Project!
This might be as bad, if not worse, than the first problem... I had this problem BAD.
I would have a website that was literally completely ready to launch... Everything was ready... EVERYTHING.
But then, instead of launching I would say "But wait! What if I do this!" Oops, time to wait two more weeks before launching!
Two weeks turned to a month, and so on... and by then the flame was starting to go away.
Some times you just have to jump, and trust that it will all work out. You'll notice (as I did) that the best launches, whether it is you or not, are ones that are just that... LAUNCHES!
Do NOT fall into the dreaded "Ready... Aim... Aim... Aim... Aim..." cycle in which you NEVER fire!
Just a quick thought at 5:30 AM over here
I need to go to sleep ahah
