Is anyone willing to share an example Amazon affiliate site?

I would really like to see a few successful Amazon affiliate sites. I realize that this is a lot to ask but I have no interest in copying anyone's work or keywords. I already have a list of keywords and niches that I've researched and believe off good opportunities. I have WP installed on several and Im ready to go to work on them. I would really appreciate a couple model sites to shorten my learning curve though. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. This forum has given me a boost in excitement about my online business. Thanks.

Hey Scraig - site looks nice, has it been converting for you?

What WP theme did you use?

      Cheers,

      Jeff

        Jeff -

It looks like the REVIEW theme...Review Theme - A Wordpress review & affiliate theme for Affiliates (they have several for the $10..including an amazon one). I might be wrong, but it looks very similar.

        Hope that helps!

Considering that's not your site, and belongs to another member here, that's quite the douche-y move to post it here. It's not your place to give away other Warrior's sites and niches as an example.

Settle down dude. The site was outed 2 or 3 months ago. It's already public.

Not the point at all, and it wasn't "outed" to everyone. It's not his site to show off, it belongs to another Warrior here.

Dude, it WAS outed for everyone. It's given as a sample site in a freakin WSO thread for Pete's sake.

Not sure how THIS is does not mean EVERYONE:

Care to explain how it wasn't outed for EVERYONE???

LOL U mad bro? Calm down and try to pay attention.

Since you can't seem to grasp simple concepts, I'll explain it to you this way:

Have you noticed the people commenting on this thread about that site, thanking "scraig" for showing it to them? That's because THEY HAVEN"T SEEN IT BEFORE. Not everyone has visited the thread you linked to.

It's been made clear by the mods on several other threads here that you aren't supposed to be hyperlinking to other Warrior's sites in this manner.

Either way, you are WAAAAY too excited over this. Keep replying though, we know you need the last word...

Isn't this whole statement kinda stupid?

With the exception of websites that require a login to access, websites are public entities. Who says Scraig even knew that site belonged to a Warrior? I could go onto Google right now and find 100 Amazon review sites and post them here as samples - am I then guilty of exposing Warrior secrets if some of those sites happen to be owned by members of this forum?

Fully agree. I almost replied the same when I read it but it was so ridiculous, I decided to not even bother.

Any site that you want to see an example of you can head over to flippa and see what they look like. Chances are many are not willing to out their affiliate site. Just look at the completed listings on flippa.

I understand that many people won't want to give the info out. It was worth a shot. Ive seen a lot of poor Amazon sites on Flippa. Anyone have success with Adsense or affiliate sites bought from there?

Poor as in the way the site looks or poor in the amount of revenue it brings in? What are you looking for exactly? I have seen crappy looking site make a killing because of the fact they were crappy looking.

Both. I have a couple ugly adsense sites that do well. I had an Amazon affiliate site that I got from Flippa that Google hated. I dont know if it was the way I backlinked it or if I needed to add more copy to it or what.

Hey just checked out your fryer site and looks okay to me. You say that that now you have made some profit with it your going to flip it and make some cold stuff.

Have you had a lot a appearance with flipping sites and how much do you think you will make with such a site?

Besides the site, I thought the link was interesting. You have an exact match domain and just added a v to it. Does it stand for something related to fryers, or did you just pick a random letter?

The site is a decent straightforward piece of work. I can understand it working.

Do you guys (or gals) just pull the info from Amazon or do you write your own copy for the products?

That's a paid Newspaper theme. I don't know of any free ones.

Does a person need to check the products regulalry and make sure they are atill available on Amazon? I realize this might not be much of an issue with some niches but others have more products coming and going, I assume.

No, not mad at all. Not excited either. I just don't like folks who think they are the internet police.

A website was posted on a public forum 2 months ago and held up as an example in a WSO thread that garnered over 1100 views and you insist on reprimanding someone who was trying to help by using it as an example. You then justify it when I called you out by saying the site wasn't outed to everyone.

Sorry, bud - it was. Just a fact. Feel free to argue your opinion. I'll stick to facts.

If you can choose products on amazon to sell over $100 with a few smaller items to help build up the % that will get the commission rolling in faster. I've just started putting my amazon stores into my wp blogs - something a little extra to the website.
