Do I really need a list to participate in JV Giveaways or are there other ways to be involved in the contests-I am just starting and my list is waaaaay low, not even enough to do anything I really want to get involved iv JV's..I've heard it's one great way to build a list fast.

I don't think you'd absolutely need a list as one of the purposes of giveaways is to actually build your list. But to be sure, just ask whoever is sponsoring the giveaway

i have taken part in a few giveaways now and as far as i can tell you dont really need a list. You will find with most JVG's the only thing you need is a product to contribute to the Giveaway and you have to promise to promote the JV giveaway. Of course the easiest way to promote the JVG is having your own list and thats what contributors tend to do. I have used fiverr before to help promote an event so it's not necessary to have your own list i dont think.

You could always check with the organisers as mentioned previously but as long as your promoting i dont think the organisers are too bothered how you go about it.

        Damien is right.

You can promote it in others ways as well. Normally though you only need to get a few sign ups to keep from getting downgraded.

You can use Fiverr like Damien mentioned and pay people to promote your link via Twitter, FaceBook etc and this will get you some sign ups so that your gift can stay in the giveaway and you will gain subscribers...

Of course, the more referrals you can send the more you will receive as your gift will rank higher in the list of gifts.

        Hope this helps.

If you're going to compete with the masses of JVs in JV giveaways and have a small list, ultimately try and get your product on the top of page 2 or page 3, its much easier and can get you a lot more conversions
