How Were Your Black Friday Sales?

So Black Friday has come and gone for another year. At least we still have Xmas to look forward to though right

How were your sales on Friday?
I had one of my Amazon sites make about $60 alone so can't complain about that really.

Did you guys see a spike in sales or the normal?

  Yep same here. I broke my record on Friday and then broke that record again yesterday. Hopefully today and Monday (cyber monday) I'll break the record once again.

Thanksgiving and Black Friday are always key times for us too, we coordinated site wide sales across 3 "large" web-stores in the self help niches - with over 600 products between them.

For the last 3 years Thanksgiving / Black Friday sales have been one of our biggest key periods of the year, and this year was no different. The sale converting at 10%+ on clicks from our newsletter and 3%+ from fresh visits from affiliates / JV partners (they convert higher once theyre warmed up on our lists).

I would urge anyone who isn't doing Thanksgiving / Black Friday promotions to start doing them, you WILL make massive sales compared to normal, and in my experience your sales wont even dip the next week.. just going back to normal.

Same here Suzanne, one of my WP plugin made 58 sales but my newly launched WPiframer.com got booted out from wso in less than 8 hrs.

But I'm still happy with my sales.

  Glad to see everyone seems to have had a decent day. The strange thing with a lot of my Amazon sales, is that I don't think the products were much cheaper than usual? I could be wrong of course, but they seemed to be the standard pricing.

I didn't break a sales record, but came close. I was happy. I had pretty high expectations as a niche site of mine finally really took off about 2 months ago ... just in time for the holidays. It delivered well.

Actually, I've had one of the best weeks ever with sales. Some merchants I promote were running week-long (through Cyber Monday) so I'm still enjoying a decent spike.

My Black Friday sales were better than the previous Friday... by about 3 times the amount of items sold.

Didn´t get any orders for Pepper Spray though !
