My amazon review article hit #3 on Google, now I need advice

Just a note of encouragement and a question to my fellow warriors,

I've been wanting to get my Amazon groove going since I became a member here, and now finally I'm selling something nearly every day and have been earning around 50-100$ a month.

But recently I noticed I've been consistently selling one product and realized an article I wrote got to #3 on Google. With only 10 hits, I sold 3 in the past 2 days. Obviously there is some magic here I was unaware of so my question is:

What course/guru should I look in to for more education on using Amazon? They are my favorite affiliate by far so I don't really want to use anyone else. I've seen tons of stuff on the forum about Amazon but it's almost a bit overwhelming.

Does anyone have any pointers on where to educate myself on how to do this again and again?

Thanks!
-Matt

Gaz Cooper's AMZ membership site would be a good place to go, it's a real mine of information concerning all facets of Amazon affiliate marketing
I'd also like to point out my usual disclaimer that I'm not a relative of Gaz!

You can search for excellent amazon affiliate courses by fellow warriors here on the WF - Jan Roos and Michael Franklin.

Sounds to me like you already know what you are doing, so why not just do more of the same? Just analyze what you have done so far that worked, and do more of that. You probably don't need to buy any course.

Matt, in case you still notice this thread, I would also be very interested in knowing if your article was on your site or was an article you had submitted to a directory, and any other information you can share, such as the length of the article.

          Thanks.

First of all, congrats on your success!!

I personally have used Erica Stone's Extreme Review and Squidoo Niche blaster with huge success. She sells here on the WF--just hop over to the WSO section and grab these products. I'm not her affiliate but a very satisfied customer. She gives a no fluff do this, do that approach. She also includes copy and paste templates for you to use on your sites.

BUT, most importantly, she actually personally responds to your emails, gives you one-on-one points and tips, helps you analyze where you need to make changes. She really cares about your success.

    Without a doubt, Erica Stone.

One question...you say your review article hit Google page #1..was that the article posted on your site or was that an article that you had submitted to EZA or some other article directory?

Again, congrats! It helps when your hard work pays off.

I'm another big fan of Erica Stone. She really cares about whether you have success and not just to sell you a product. I have NEVER had anyone else take the time she does to answer any questions you have and offer encouragement.
You will not regret buying any of her products and becoming a happy follower especially since you have the basics.

Hey, Matt. First, I wanna say congrats for your rankings, earnings, and especially your conversion rates! Secondly, I recommend you check out Unstoppable Affiliate by Andrew Hansen and Josh Stanton. They are really good teachers who practice what they preach, have stellar reps, and there course uses a practical and realistic approach -- without all the fluff. Keep up the great work!

I have heard great things about Michael Franklin's course, and purchased (but admittedly have not fully implemented) Erica Stone's (Sojourn) program, and picked up a few gems from within.

The two very well known Amazon courses I have purchased and implemented all the way through and took massive action on and their grades after this:

    1) The DeadBeat Super Affiliate by Dan Brock - D+

I don't recommend this one at all. I went over this course thoroughly and built several sites to the "t" following the methods outlined. The results were...sub-par to say the least, and other courses later on would show me just how much important info was missing from this one. It's an OK course for a beginner, but there are MUCH better options. Also, a complete lack of customer service from Dan and his support. Skip this one.

    2) The Physical Affiliate by Jan Roos - B+

A solid course on a very specific method of setting up Amazon "review"-style sites. A complete video tutorial highlights important points in building these sites, including keyword research, product and niche selection, and the basics of setting up wordpress sites.

This course does not go over on-page SEO very much (which is massively important), and the off-page SEO methods and recommended plugins are somewhat dated, but other than that, you'll get the gist of what you need to do to build a successful Amazon site with this course.

This one is probably your best option. After all, there is a reason you see literally tens of thousands of Jan Roos-style sites all over the internet: the course is very popular, and the basic methods work when you put the time and money into them.

His WSO with this program is no longer open, but he does still offer it.

Why do you need a course? Just improve your content, test with different affiliate link placement, and build more links to your site until you hit #1 for your keyword. There's your course, PM me for my paypal

If you want build some niche site, i think you can read erica's / jan roos's book, i haven't read their book, but i see that they get many positive reviews.

or you can build micro niche site (promote just 1 product), and google sniper product will be good for your learning.

Thanks for the recommendations, I agree that you may not need a course. If you write a few more articles or do videos that link to that page, or even just throw a few more manual social media bookmarks at it, maybe that will do bring it up.

Congrats - you are almost at the rinse and repeat stage.
