Could I get some help with my first Splash Page please?

Hi guys

Going through the WSO IM Bootcamp course by Jeremy and i've just put up my first 'splash page'. (I think that's what you call them).

Anyway, the idea is to point people towards a sales page and I wondered if I could have your opinions please.

Learn Spanish Online | Spanish Fluently | Learn Spanish Online | Fluent Spanish

Thanks

    Hi,

Yes, that is a splash page... but a couple things could be improved...

    1. Try to *maybe* make it a bit shorter
    2. Add some bullet points in there!

    Otherwise, looks alright to me!

    Good job!

    Jamie

Just a thought... you might try using the wording in caps "ADD TO CART" in an orange button instead of whatever else. It's been shown to increase conversions significantly.

Would you put a price next to that as well?

You also may want to take out a few "spanish" references. I know what you're trying to do but it's annoying to read and it's like keyword stuffing a bit, isn't it?

Interesting view. Do you think I may be better off with a blog instead?

Looks like you've selected the Niche Affiliate Model.

When I hear the word splash page I think of pages used for the traffic exchanges.

I call the page you have a presell landing page.

Because you're trying to warm up your prospect before you ask them to click through to a sales page right?

    - I spotted a spelling error (Unfortunately is the word)

    - I'm not crazy about how your text is not aligned as you have the end of sentences in the middle of the page.

    - "Put some quotation marks around the headline".

    - At least 3 bullet points about the product and to help people understand why they need to click on through to the sales page.

Hey, it's a start and you've got to start somewhere.

    Congrats!

Learning how to slap up pages is an very important part of most online business models.

Ps. Do you have any other buttons other than that "click here to get learning Spanish fast" button?

It looks like a button that belongs on the sales page not the presell page and is asking for the sale.

My point is that it will scare off lots of would be prospects unless you use a softer click here for more info message.

    Something like...

    - click here now for more info about bla bla bla
    - click here now to discover more about learning Spanish fast

    also...

Eventually that landing page should have...

    - Exit page software on it - to try to do something else for people that don't want to do what you wanted them to do. ( click on through )

    - Tell-a-friend button

Congrats again you're on the right track!
