Does anyone know where to get any good news station style templates for business opportunity sales pages?

    Do you really want to use templates which tens, possibly hundreds, of other people may have used? Original content and sites are the best option if you know how.

    There are loads of ways to make your own. Install WorpPress onto your domain or download Kompozer and create a simple html site.

      Yes I do. There's a reason many people use them. Because they work! Though they may seem cheesy to people who are in IM and more internet savvy people they are compelling to others. I could design one myself with wordpress or from scratch but Id rather be able to choose from a variety of templates and possibly choose one that has already proven effective.

        Respectfully, I disagree.

        Call me a skepchick, but I strongly suspect that most people who use them are doing so because they imagine that "there's a reason many people use them: because they work!"

        In other words, their widespread usage is indicative of people's belief about whether or not they "must" work - not of whether or not they actually work.

        Exactly the same principle applies to countless aspects of internet marketing: people mistakenly claim that things work, typically without split-testing for themselves, without this "deduction" actually being a justifiable one at all. All that can realistically be deduced is that people assume they work.

        "Everyone does it because it's what everyone does".

        Just my perspective.

          Jim thanks a heap. I will check out both of those sites.

          Alexa thanks for your input as well. You are indeed a sceptic and a wordsmith. My POV was the same as yours before I watched a WSO by a C. Kirkland. He's a clickbank apex elite member and he talked quite a bit about how well they work and he wasn't trying to sell anything related. So unless he was lying they convert quite well.

          Before my gut told me that these type of sites wouldn't work. But I have a even stronger gut feeling he is telling the truth. However in internet marketing we must rely more on testing than we do on our gut.
