What would you do with $80

What would you do other than being a member of the war room with $80 a month to spend on your serps? Would you go for articles, social bookmarking, or what?
#$80

All though you said "other than the war room". The war room might be your best choice, sense there are millions of dollars worth of content that you can take advantage of immediately.

I would definitely go for back links, only assuming you have a site or a blog up and running all ready, maybe some market research software like Market Samurai, just to make sure your websites get the most from your chosen keywords.

There are tons of things you can do with $80.00

Sounds like you've already got your site up and running. If we're talking about 1 site, then there are also some free you can do that'll help your $80 go a long way.

I'd browse Fiverr for sure. Wade through the garbage and find something you like, then keep coming back to it. I'd opt for the manual link building gigs.

Other than that, you might consider a blog network like Build My Rank and hiring a writer from The Content Authority. $80 would get you a decent amount of posts to BMR or the like.

For free, check out Posterous. Setting up some blogs, Web 2.0's etc might take a little bit of time, but once it's set up, you can simply e-mail your articles and it'll auto publish to your entire network. Free backlinks for a little up front work.

      Anyway, those are some ideas.

I'd spend it on Build My Rank for sure. Links from private blog networks are the only way to go IMHO

Fiverr! I've been experimenting with fiverr for some of my trash sites and those services are definitely worth it, and $80 buys you a lot of fiverr gigs.

  • I would spend it on articles, you can go to odesk and get some article written for about $5 and then summit the article to article directory you can go to fivver and find someone to do that for you.

buy me a steak dinner and a bottle of wine
I was tempted to say something along those lines as well. ^

I'd probably keep my $80 until I had a solid plan. I'd want to figure out what my goals were and construct a sales funnel first so that the traffic doesn't go to waste.

If you already have those in place, I'd still save the money and drive some targeted traffic by posting thoughtful comments and posts on relevant forums/blogs so I could do some testing.

Then once my funnel is fairly solid, I'd create some awesome content/press releases to really get things moving.

Drat... still haven't spent that $80 yet.

$80 a month is actually a fairly significant investment.

The person here is seeking advice and obviously has been allocated a budget. What kind of website is this person wanting to drive traffic to? What kind of visitors would this website like to attract?

Its interesting to think that all you need is a great name (domain) a nice look (website with curbside appeal) and some interesting content (humor or nice pictures can help) and people sort of just show up....... Right?

I guess it all depends on wants and needs, if its about wants, then lets, see makers mark, comes to mind. needs, is a different story, so much depends on your goals, what do you want to do, what are your interests, when you have nothing else to do what do you find yourself thinking about?

when you start to think about what your going to do on any day of the week what is the one thing that you work towards getting to do.

Sometimes you have to do what you don't want to do so that you can have the time to do the things you really want to do.

For $80 a month. I'd split it up. Take 30 for your pocket and enjoy it and use the rest on what your site needs. Starting with an autoresponder. Aweber is about 20, I think. That would leave you 30. While a backlinking service would usually run around 47 a month for some good ones, you can find some folks around places like "warriors for hire" that use the services anyway, and you can pay them their fees for doing some backlinking for you.

Umm... If brand new.. I'd spend $1 on the the link below $9 on a domain, $30 on 3 GREAT articles and that leaves $40 for promoting via 8 fiver deals!

    Its Lot to get Started,

but Just as Danielle Lynn said "I'd probably keep my $80 until I had a solid plan. I'd want to figure out what my goals were and construct a sales funnel first so that the traffic doesn't go to waste."

Make Proper Plans and I believe that's what you were really after when creating this thread.

I'd invest it pretty fast without much thought. For SEO, I'd get a link pyramid.

Or maybe I'd find some high PR backlinks...

Of course, if you're not sure what you're doing with SEs, $80 might be better spent on traffic. FB ads can get you some low cost, highly targeted visitors for your site.

    Go for the immediate ROI.

      Hi

I'd get SEO pressor, if you haven't already. Getting my on page SEO sorted made radical improvements. Matt Laclear's Backlinks have also worked well for me. I also love Social Monkee.

      Hope that helps
