No luck selling my services.

Hi there,

I am a software QA-tester, with about 6+ years working on projects for US, Canadian, European companies and have decided to start my own venture on this world.

I have created websites, put ads on facebook, craigslist and some other pages, but haven't had much luck. Many companies does not hire my services either because they only want local or probably don't know me much.

Will anyone help me with advises, or ideas on how to get projects from companies or where to look and offer my services? or any advise at all?

I have my resume ready, email if you want and am also willing to work a 1 week unpaid trial to demonstrate my skills.... if there is anyone interested out there.

I live at a very convenient place, where there are attractive wages(for the clients), high education, proficient english and more benefits... like being able to work remotely in a very efficient and proven way, quick and reliable communication skills. I am currenty living in Costa Rica.

Thanks for all the people who contributes and helps on this forum.

I am reachable at the information on my profile, please check it and let me know how I can collaborate on your projects. Or please do let me know how I can contact you, since every time I write down any contact information, my message is banned.

I am reachable at:

You can't send pms until you have reached 50 posts so that is why your messages are being "banned" as you say.
You don't have any info on a profile.
Maybe if you have a website, we can learn more about you and suggest ideas.

You need to establish some credibility sir.

Credibility is everything within the warrior forum. Better get on that.

I also recommend giving us maybe a portfolio of your work and an official website for your services.

    Till Then,
    Rob.

I am not familiar with the idea of hiring individual/freelance QA testers per project basis (I think QA has always been an in-house part), however, if that is a viable practice, you should be able to find it out on oDesk.com and the likes.

If you already know anybody doing it successfully, you may ask them how do they do it, or back track their foot-prints using google (reverse engineering their strategy). I further doubt WF may not exactly be a place where you might get the answers you are looking for. Sorry, if my response is not helpful.
