Hi,
We have a website with good traffic 1,000,000 pageviews/month in french. What is the best way to monetize the traffic?
Our website is marocdeal.com.
Any advice is welcome.

Are you charging the businesses for running deals on your site? With 1,000,000 page views a month it seems like you should be making money from the deals you are advertising.

I can't read french, so my view of your site is limited, but I would start by taking a % of the deals you are selling.

Another way is through Google Adwords. Although, that might cheapen the look of your site if you start flooding it with ads.

I'd really focus on approaching businesses and having them pay to be on your site. With that amount of traffic you should be able to charge top dollar for ads from businesses.

Hi there good looking site mate
Ok first thing is get an optin form on there and start to collect some emails and build a list it's going to be easy recommending daily deals in your email messages that should bring great sales, I know that you have a "deals in your area form but aweber will work wonders for you.

Then I'd stick another adsence or network offer on that right hand sidebar too.

I am wanting to know the answer to Warrior Ben's question myself. . .

If this is a deal site, then typically deal sites (Groupon, Livingsocial, etc. . .) usually take a percentage cut of every deal that is sold.

Now on the other hand if this is simply an aggregate deal site that has been put together from other deal sites' feeds, then that is another story.

Instead of loading up your website with any type of ads, or PPC ads, you should seek out all of your deal vendor's websites to see if they have an affiliate program. Chances are they do.

So in this case, even though you are not dealing with the merchants personally who provide the daily deals, you'll still be able to take a cut of each sale if the main vendor's site has an affiliate program.

What is the source of your traffic?
