The Warrior Forum Help Desk Is Not The Place To Report Spammers & Rule Breakers
Hi everyone,
We've got more new members pouring in and I've also seen some posts recently where people talking about "reporting spammers" by using the Help Desk.
No, no, and NO.
The help desk is not the "Report Post" or the "Report Private Message" icons. That's the red triangle underneath everyone's name and avatar located on the left-hand square next to people's posts.
In your private message folder it's on the upper, right-hand corner.
To report spammers, posts in the wrong forums, or anyone abusing the forum or breaking one of the rules, use the report icon or report private message icons (they both look the same).
If you're having technical issues with the forum itself then that's when you contact the help desk. The help desk is for forum-specific issues and not for reporting spammers or rule breakers. Mods, of course feel free to add or modify to anything I'm writing.
This way the Help Desk won't get bombarded with rule violations that should be going to the mods to be reviewed. And bear in mind if you report something, it's up to the mod(s) to decide to enforce it or not as it might not be an actual rule violation or it might be a grey area.
