newbie amazon niche sites

Hi I'm new to the world of IM. I am getting ready to start building some amazon niche sites. I have been spending a lot of time studying online marketing and have a few questions. I seems many intelligent people are struggling at this.

1. Is a person better just mass producing amazon sites then coming back and focusing on the ones doing well.

2. Or spending a lot of time on a few your passionate about

I know this is a broad wide open post but it seems the ones on the latter question are having the most trouble. Plus any advice would be much appreciated.

You need to create sites that offer value to the visitor. I would start with something you know something about. For example, if you're into mountain biking you could start there and review mountain bike products as well as having articles about changing headsets and chains etc. You can then link these articles back to your headset reviews etc.

Thanx guys I do have knowledge in a lot of marketable areas to online market. I went to college for exercise science and have been an athlete in most sports at one time or another even professional wrestling a few times lol. Being green I want to pick the right area to start in be it amazon, click bank or what ever I notice from studying this week a big cause of non success for many people is being all over the place. I also realise this just like anything thing else the people that are the best are the ones who have failed the most generaly.

The easiest to start IM is affiliate marketing IMO. Why not start promoting physical products?

I Think I'll start by building a large site about bodybuilding . And build quite a few back link articles and such. I also understand from studying others results I proably need something I scale up and replicate several times. I'm not trying to get rich just use my down time to accomplish something win, lose or draw. I also understand I'm going to take a beating at first but I'm not one to quit

I would suggest to do a mixture of both.. Your passion about the item will keep you motivated while it is also important to test things out.

I just want to make sure I pick a good project that I dont have to abandon because of lack luster results it seems people that dont have success tend to be all over the place. I want make sure I pick a field I can drive through after the intial shock of the this is a lot harder then it looked phase. I feel the nice stores are about as legitimate as anything i have seen IM marketing wise in brief studying. Any suggestion is more then appreciated.

You don't just throw up sites and hope for the best. You need to do some research first. Find a niche market that is both profitable AND one you enjoy working in. Once you find a profitable niche you like, you need to learn about the people in the niche, find products, do keyword research and all that jazz. This goes for promoting physical or digital-info products. The process is the same. Don't bounce around from one niche to the other -- at least not until you've started making some good money. This way, you will be able to apply what you learned from before.

    Good luck,
    Joey

I find it best to spend a lot of time laser focused on a handful of quality sites. But others may have a ton of sites and do well. So it depends on the types of sites you build, how well you outsource etc.

If the goal is organic traffic, using multiple sites can be an issue. By the time you rank multiple keywords, Google could change their algo and then you have little to show for it unless you are outsourcing.

Pick a couple quality products that are searched for, you can compete for and have good reviews. Check the sales ranking at Amazon to make sure the sales are there also.

Then look at the info on Amazon to help you write your reviews.

Try to appeal to different searchers. You will want clickable links near the top and copy that is broken down into easy to read sections for the scanners. You will want lots of information for the consumers who research.

Include clickable text links and photo images (not Amazon widgets). Make it really clear how to buy the product. And give a strong call to action at the end of your review.

    Remember to focus on benefits.
