Usually it's not a good idea to get a pre-made website, especially if your aim is to rank with Google. Remember that most of the people selling these pre-made websites number one goal is to make money, so of course there's a high chance that they'll sell the same site to whoever else will pay for it.

The life of your business is worth more than that.

    Hi Kevin,

In my experience, no it's not a good idea if someone is pre-making a website for you. However what is a good idea is to buy an aged already established website that has counted links and traffic, this allows for keywords to already be established and you can get right into operation building more links and improving the site.

Google will shun you if it picks up copied or plagarised text from another site.

A good site that will be useful to you in terms of making you money will most likely not be "cheap". The companies try to get what a site is worth, thats where the profit is. Its like, you can't buy a Corvette for the price of a wagon. There are however, rare finds (really good deals) if you know what you are looking for. The more a site can do for you, the more it can do for others. Thats where the value is.

What you want is links that have age. Google looks for that in ranking you. Try to buy a site that has been around for a few years. Also that has links many. Try for a good mix. Like you do not want all of your in bound links to be from social networks, but a little from each area.
