Anyone know how to remove a table from a document?

I had an outsourcer prepare a report for me that I will be using as a free giveaway. They copy and pasted some statistics from a site, but it also inserted a table with it. If I try to remove the table, it takes the data with it. I am using Open Office and it is a regular doc file. Anyone know how to strip the table formatting out and keep the text?

    You might be able to copy and paste the data out of the table, then delete the table.

      Duh! LOL.... I don't know why I didn't think to copy it to notepad and repaste it. Good Lord.... I am really blond tonight. Thanks for the needed reminder!
