1.) Collect the money from the affiliate websites you have in your signature.

    2.) Sell The list

    3.) Rent the list

4.) Use the list as collateral

    5.) Hussle the list

    6.) Cut people's lawns

7.) Wash people's windows at the local gas station

8.) Sell flowers at a high traffic intersection

    9.) Sell your blood

    10.) Sell your sperm/eggs

11.) Sell your hair, if you have long hair

    12.) Go clean someone's house

13.) Take out an ad in Craigslist

14.) Get paid for referring someone to finance their car in Atlanta

15.) Get paid for referring someone to a payday loan site

16.) Chill out a bit with a Zoloft

17.) Running around finding out what to do will make you lose some weight

18.) Show your list leadership skills and tell them they need what you're promoting

19.) Do all things mentioned above

20.) If all that fails, email your list an offer that is related to the niche and has an instant payment affiliate program. Then sit back and watch the payments come in. Of course, this will only work if your list isn't dead.

What I 'fail' to understand ^^^ up there is why should the hair be long at all?
Why wouldn't short hair 'cut' it?

To the best I can see you, SIR, seem to be in-congruent, as at the #10 just above (see below)...

On a serious note now ...

How old is that 5k list? Did YOU build it or bought it or what?

If you built it yourself, what was the response you got from it so far?

I might be able to help you with a tip or two if you would give us here more details.

As you posted it, it looks like the 5k list is seen as simply a cow to milk and not a collection of REAL people's emails?..

A responsive list of 5000 should be good enough to get you some extra cash. Since you haven't specified if you have tried anything with the list yet then you may want to start testing the response rate. Because not all lists are created equal.

Start by offering a free report to that list. See how many download the free report. Then sell them a follow-up report for around $10. See who buys that. Traditional email marketing is converting very low these days. You will need to establish credibility with your list and that isn't an easy thing to do these days.

Are you looking to sell the list of emails or market to the list for new products? Be careful if selling, since there are spamming regulations.

The short answer is find out what they want and sell it to them.

It will most likely be something related to what ever they signup onto the list to get. Can you be more specific about what the list is about or outline what or why they signup into the list?

There is probably someone in this forum who will have something you can sell to them...

I think that when you're posting in the Warrior Forum asking for help and advice, and people ask you if it's your list, or whether you bought it, and how it was built (which is information they do legitimately need, to be able to answer your question), you should answer them, rather than fobbing them off with "No, young man, the list is REAL people", as you did above. You won't learn anything helpful, that way. I'm "just saying".

            Alexa, i appreciated your comment.

            - I built the list myself.
            - wrt to what they want, i think i communicated that incorrectly. i meant to ask if there is any specific they want.

Duncan, i just cancelled my hosting account yesterday so im reshuffling my biz at the moment.

          As new Guru said -

Poll them (with a small bribe for doing so) or simply ask them.

Engage with them and they should tell you.

          Hi zk46,

Making money with emails its very very very difficult.. I tell yoiu that because i own a list with 1 million emails and another one with 10 million emails and i didnt earned anything from that 2 lists
          You're not doing it right.

You could use SurveyMonkey.com to ask them what their main pressing question is in that niche. Something like

"Imagine if you could ask [niche guru expert] one question, what would it be?"

If the cost per click is $10 to $15 to the advertiser, assuming a 30% margin to you (assumption) that gives $3 or to you on AdSense ad clicks.

Why not create a quick WordPress site keyword targeted to their niche, write 1 decent article about the subject. Position AdSense ads top middle and bottom around the article then subtly drive them to click on the ads.

Then email them again to bring them to this great new article

Thats got to be easier than creating an eBook

One thing that you could do with your list, provided you are willing to lose some subscribers is to offer solo ads to people.

This will give you some cash, but beware and make sure that you generate the amount of clikcs you say you can, and make sure that you give your client the agreed amount of clicks in a timely manner.

Normally, between 24 and 48 hours delivery time is the standard.

I'm jealous, but a little curious as to how/why you complied a list without really being able to pin down how they're all related (what they want/buy) Regardless there seem to be a lot of great offers you could send them... Above all just be cool to them and give them cool stuff and cool opportunities

If any of those on your list are marketers themselves I would not offer to sell them your list. If you built this yourself you don't want anybody spamming that list. If anybody on your list needs a list themselves and you want to treble that list I would be looking for a way to help them.

I use the Extreme-List-Builder because I earn $20 for each person who takes the same offer I did. And if they don't I still get the first 5 people they get as subscribers placed on my list and NOT SHARED. All it takes is one email to your 5000 and if 1% respond that's a quick $1K plus you'll add subscribers to your list that are already qualified. Win/Win if you ask me.

I'm sorry but your thread has my head spinning.

How did you come across this list?

To me a list is worthless unless I know in what specific niche it is and how it was acquired and by whom. I would never ever use a list that did not come from my own sites or someone who was not reputable.

If it is a double opt-in list that you bought, I would definitely advise against selling it whole. what I would do is go to RapBank and find some 100% instant commission products to promote. You can find a lot of good ones that cost just $7-$10, so people will usually scoop them up if they are good.

My own list is at 5100 right now, and it makes me great money every month. It's all about how you build your relationship with your subscribers, what kind of content you give them, etc.

If you just make pitch after pitch, it won't be long before your list becomes totally unresponsive.

Haha have you tried asking your list?? Sometimes we crack our brains trying to think what we could give to our lists, when we can just ask them!

You could send an email saying something like:
"Hey guys, I'm about to go research on a new topic and wanted to find out what you are interested in.

What would you like to learn?/What is your biggest problem/question with _______?

Just hit reply and tell me what you want and I'll go to work to make that happen for you!

    Regards
    your name"

Serve others and the money will come! ;-)
