Yes, I strongly recommend that you shouldn't buy a WSO, if:
- You don't have time to WORK.
- You don't want to implement.
- You aren't an action taker.

Com'on Warriors, what else you want to be successful?

There is real gold in WSOs in my opinion.

I am totally amazed seeing a great amount of WSOs launched everyday.
Every WSO over deliver and tells secret method of being successful.
IMO, WSOs are the one spot full IM training solutions.

Every day hundrends of WSOs are launched and many warriors buy them but...
How many people actually take action?

If you're not going to take action or if you're not in the mood of changing
your life
, then you shouldn't buy WSOs.

My advice: Buy 1 WSO on 1st of every month and for rest of the month, WORK ON IT!!

If it doesn't work then simply buy another WSO, but if it works, then stick with it and buy another WSO only if you think will work as an auxiliary to the method which is working for you.

Thanks
- Steve

    Very good advice, Steve. Thanks.
My coach is always advising me to get them as they are so well priced
and useful in so many ways.
    One a month is good!

    Cheers, mate.

    Thanks.

Your post was quite useful. I haven't bought any WSO's yet and probably will not until I master basic IM skills. I bought the War Room membership and it was even more useful. There were many WSO's free and the price being only 33 dollars I feel it was a quite good deal.

With the information contained in the WSO's it's very easy to get confused. Too much of data can cause a "data overload". For me this meant at first that I didn't know who to trust or what to do because there are so many paths to make money and succeed in Internet marketing. I feel that the best way for a newbie, is just as Super Warrior said, to try one approach and work on it. If it doesn't succeed then try another one.

I think what people mistake with WSO's is that instead of being a "road map" how to make money they are tools or experiences by another members. An approach which works with one member will not necessarily work with you. That's why we have to develop our skills and find the methods, tools and approaches that work according to our skills.

I like the post. There's no doubt that people don't give most methods a fair shot before moving on to something else. Most people that are new to the IM game want the quick riches, and don't put in the time and effort necessary to create a real business.

And yes, WSOs are so inexpensive that if you find one that sounds like something you could work with, you don't have a lot to lose in purchasing it. WSOs are great IMO.

Agree! Some users think that buying WSO is only the task. they don't take action of the method described in WSO. I bought many WSO's here and got many ideas to build my IM carrier.

Definitely. I read WSOs of every type. Just because one WSO may be written about list building, doesn't mean that I can't learn something that I can apply to article marketing, etc. I like to know as many aspects of IM as possible. I feel that it gives me a better chance at success in all fields of marketing. Besides, you really have to come up with a method that is a little bit your own to make IM work the way you want it to.

I agree with all of you. I hate when someone grabs a product and then gripes that it didn't work. If they had taken the time to really work with it maybe things would be different.

Most people starting out don't realize that Internet Marketing takes time and I mean lots of time. If you purchase a wso make sure your ready for it and give it time.

Most of the WSOs are created to make money, not to give some secret recipe to success. If I knew of a method to make $1000 a day, I would work on my method. Why would I spend hours selling WSOs for measly 10 bucks?

Be sure that the WSO has some meat before you buy it.

If you are making $ 1000 per day therefore 30k per month.
Now if you then release a wso telling people how you make your 1k per day and sell it for
A MEASLY 10 BUCKS and sell 500 or 1000 copies you would earn an extra $5,000 to $1,0000 heck maybe $15,000even if you have a nice list and some affiliates promoting.
Not to mention the BUYERS LIST that you will be building (priceless!)
Not to mention the connections and future JV partners that you might establish ( also priceless!!)
      Do the math lol.
So an extra 10k to 15k a month I think is worth considering.

        lol... good point.

This is where some people don't get it.

Smart marketers use wso to fill their funnel with leads.

In other words, my wso is just a lead generation tool and part of my overall business.

Secondly, and wannabe entrepreneur will try to add as many income streams from the one product as possible.

This applies to life in general really.

The key is taking action ... or as Anthony Robbins would probably say "Massive Action!" ... he'd probably slip in the occasional 'congruent' as well

I think part of the problem, that brings inaction, is not being convinced that the WSO will actually deliver on the promises and a buyer is reluctant to dedicate what can be months to something that ends up just being the dream of the creator. So, they move on in the hope that the next purchase will finally convince them.

There are some great WSO products, that can bring results and real financial turnaround for the buyer, but they need real work to bring this about. Possibly this is the hardest thing for many buyers to take on board, as there are so many promises of overnight wealth for no work.

There are also many WSOs that are not about making money, so much as ways to help on that path and these can apply to anyone who has an online business and increasingly to those who are approaching offline clients as well. These are the kind of WSOs to pick up if one feels they are relevant to one's business, so it could be two in a day or none in a month. The key is to be discerning and driven by a 'business mind' and not an emotional sparkly object one!

Where was this advice a few thousand $$$ ago. A good reminder for anyone. For myself I'm getting better only 2 purchases this week.

Personally I don't mind spending for most of what I have, I learn a lot and use what I can.

You can all stop creating WP Plugins though please, my god I just get one installed and the next gotta have one is right there, Paypal just pops up a notice now and says don't fight it you know you are going to buy it, press the button............and I do

For me WSOs are inexpensive learning tools, OTOs drive me nuts but thats just me.

Still great advice, there are so many good new products / services offered on such a regular basis, spending can get way out of hand, and it's sneaky, $5 here - $7 there - $9 Too, adds up quickly.

I can stand up and admit I'm a WSO addict, the only way I can stay away is to not open my email, out of site out of mind I guess. The only problem is I can't stay away from email.

I'm hooped so please keep those prices low Thx

        Great insight and charge!!

I like the idea of just buying 1 WSO and giving it a fair shake for 30 days, if doesn't work, then move on to another method.

I used to think the more products I had in my hands the more money I would make online... instead, I was making everyone else richer while I sat there with all this information and no game plan.

        Peace.

That's why I hate blind WSOs that don't even tell you what it's related to.

I'm pretty good at weeding through them now. If it's not related to SEO or something I am currently using or will use in the near future, I don't even bother.

Although I've actually bought some cheap WSOs ($7 or $9) that I never even looked at. That's beyond crazy.

Ok I'm going to be controversial here and disagree.

WSO's do not guarantee any type of success. Many WSOs are complete crap and sold by people who are struggling to pay their rent let alone having any substantial success. The kicker - you'll never know which ones.

Many WSOs are just people's ideas about what they think might work that they've never actually tried and never made any money with. Why do they sell it? Because they need money and people tell them "you can make money by selling a WSO".

Don't kid yourself that buying WSOs will give you any sort of short-cut to success.

Make your own plan and work it. Don't rely on anyone/anything else to bring it to you.

Do not confuse controversy with arrogance... or even ignorance for that matter.

Whilst I agree with most of what you say, it depends on what you are looking for and what you need.

For example, I buy PLR content as well as guides to certain aspects of my business.

As a 1-off they might not be of much value, but I like the idea of going to a store and buying whatever parts I need.

And without blowing my trumpet, I take offence to your comments because some of us actually create wso based on what we do... that work... and are of high quality.

          Maybe I don't like generalities?

For anyone - perhaps I shouldn't just quote single posters - to say that 98% are cr@p is simply a false assumption. Unless they test each single one.

          Which none of us do.

Even I don't presume to know what all of them are about. Have I bought some duds? Yep. Have I bought good ones? Yep.

Funny how the majority of the ones I buy are good. Coincidence? Or just that I am selective?

In the main, I agree... but I think that people who brand them all as cr@p add nothing to the debate.

Rehashed cr@P? Well these wso's are probably based on something good, so if you follow them, you'll probably see results. What if I base my wso on a formula that has proven to be successful and then rewrite it in my own version?

Obscure methods? These may have very well worked for the seller. Follow them and they will probably work for you.

Theory? These wso's may be based on a theory that works. For example, I can put out a wso that teaches how to find cheap web designers and then resell services for a mark up. Never done this, but can you make money this way? Yes.

So the ethical questions remain - does the seller over state results? does the seller falsify proof of income? These are a different argument altogether.

          Cheers,

          Sal

After reading the WSO. Make a list of your questions and send that file to
the seller. Meanwhile, you can keep doing things which are clear in your mind
and don't require any help. When you receive answers, start working on that.
No doubt, you'll have more questions in your mind while you're completing
the stages of that WSO. Keep them sending to your WSO seller.

      Thanks

    Shireen here :-)

Great sharing, "taking massive action" is one of key in IM success.

Most of my students who make it in IM are those who put in consistent action.

    Have a great day :-)

I think the problem is that you can buy too many WSO's and never get anything done...My strategy is to purchase only the WSO's I am sure I cannot live without and then thoroughly test the strategies/software until I see results.

Purchasing every shiny new toy you see, will get you nowhere fast and only helps you to lose focus.

I agree with this. If you don't intend on implementing what is contained in the WSO, don't buy it.

I am totally amazed seeing a great amount of WSOs launched everyday.
Every WSO over deliver and tells secret method of being successful.
IMO, WSOs are the one spot full IM training solutions.
    .......
This part is total BS. A large portion of WSOs suck. End of story. If you don't agree you are either (a) delusional or (b) have an agenda, i.e., you sell WSOs and depend on naive newbies to buy your garbage.

I think WSO's help to stimulate the brain. The secret is to take a WSO and use your own twist on the method.

Also, alot of us also work a 9-5, so WSO's are a good method to learn quickly, as people are so time poor in the modern world.

    So I probably shouldn't buy a WSO.

I haven’t bought any WSO yet because I'm happy with my own methods. Anyway, if I had found warriorforum and WSO section 3-4 years before, I feel that I had to save lots of time.

I think an advantage I have is that whenever some true gold gets to hit the WSO section, the network I work with knows about it, so I never miss the ground breaking stuff. There is a lot of value there, I have purchased some amazing products which have enabled me to take my business to the next level, tools I just couldn't live without.

This is true. Buying WSO and never implement it is a waste of time and money.

      Great post, Steve!

I spent months trapped in a cycle of buying WSOs that were "just too good a deal to miss". All my time was spent looking through emails and sales pages and studying the contents of the products I bought.

I constantly felt frustrated because I didn't have the time to take action on anything and became disillusioned.

In the last couple of months I've stopped this unproductive behaviour and started to take action. I have a plan and I'm sticking with it to completion. I feel a lot happier with myself and know that this new course of action will eventually lead to success.

This is not to say that I haven't bought any WSOs, but the ones I have bought have been targetted so I only get the ones that I know will help me to execute The Plan.

I'm still a bit of a procrastinator, especially when I come up against a problem, but I'm getting there.

My main advice to anyone starting out is pick one method and work at it until you have mastered it or proved conclusively that it's not going to work for you.

      It's a simple equation:

      Action = Results

Definitely agree. Got to FOCUS guys! Follow One Course Until Successful!!

May I suggest finding a mentor? i think above anything else, a mentor can propel you towards success in the shortest time and with the least mistakes. The tricky part is finding one! =)

Personally I very rarely buy training products that aren't WSO's.

I've saved a fortune because most training of equal quality costs 10 times more outside of the Warrior Forum.

The trick is knowing what's good and what's not, so if it sounds too good to be true I don't touch it.

I trust the WSO of the day from Mike, he always picks winners.

I also trust those people who I've bought great WSO's from before whenever they bring out something new.

If you set aside 1 hour a day to learning it all adds up and you'll quickly become an expert in an area of IM. It's when you try to do all your training in 1 day that makes it much harder to fit in.

Buy WSO's carefully. Most are great, but honestly, every WSO is not for every person. Depends on where you are in learning or the education process.

Personally, I love WSO's, but I've bought a few that did not fit what I needed/wanted at the time. So my advice is not to grab them just because they're "pretty" or because the sales copy got you all worked up.

      Instead...

Calm yourself and spend some time (and you may need to even wait a few days for posts to build up) READING the thread so you can get other people's/purchaser's feedback on the product to get a better idea of what the WSO is about, how it teaches the subject, and who it's directed at (newbie/intermediate/advanced marketer) so you will know if it's up your alley or not.

And as most have already stated.. put them to work, don't just put them ont the shelf and look at them because they look/sound good.

It's easy to get caught up in the initial rush, especially if it's a dimesale because we think.. the quicker I act/buy the more money I'll save on the thing... well, if you spend $5 on something that's useless, or you wait and read several pages of reviews/posts about it and end up spending $15 on something that really fits and brings you PROFITS from it... which is the better buy?? Seriously. Also, ask yourself... how many worthless $27, $47, $97 or even higher have you bought from places other than the WF...so a few extra dollars here on a good/great WSO is still way less $$ than you've thrown away elsewhere just because you got suckered by slick copy/video/whatever.

I like this it's a well balanced response to WSO's.

WSO's are useful but having a plan in place to make sure that you are taking action is equally important.

One thing I would also advise is try and think about what kind of business you want to be in before you start buying WSO's.

Having at least a reasonable understanding of what kind of information you need to learn before you start purchasing so that you can make selective choices.

It's like if you were studying to be a doctor you would suddenly decide to start taking additional courses on engineering solely because you heard that engineers make great money. Focus is important to success.

"Every day hundrends of WSOs are launched and many warriors buy them..."

    So where are they?

I'm only seeing about half a dozen or so new ones daily! Maybe twice that if you include the WarRoom!

And according to the stats on WarriorPlus, the actual sales are what I would characterize as "anemic" for such a highly focused niche wanting to learn (more) about Internet marketing!

Granted, not all the offers go through WSOPro, but it seems the overwhelming majority do. Their data indicates the statistical average of 216 sales at US$14.50.

Somehow, I would have thought it would/should be much, much higher.

    Steve,

Thank you so much for your advice. I have been selling online since Amazon started their associate program... back when the Internet was still in its infancy, but I am new to this forum.

I made the mistake of buying every WSO that looked like a bargain (that's about all of them). Now I am so overwhelmed with ideas and information - I don't know where to start.

Since I was laid-off from the higher education industry I am searching for the perfect way to monetize a couple of dot edu's I came to control. I have been lurking and learning.

You guys have been a great help to me, even though I haven't said so publicly!

Buy them, don't buy them...it's like buying a taco at an authentic Mexican taco stand. Sometimes you get that delicious marinated beef taco so savory and it gets you full, other times it may be the mystery meat, bits and parts of chicken and pork mixed into one. Either way, as long as you get to eat!

Thanks, I stop by WSO, this is good but we dont have time to read all and apply of this. But IM change day by day, so we need to find some good one to buy, and I did not read any WSO recently.

It may have been mentioned already, I haven't read through all the comments on thread.

My recommendation would be to join the war room before buying WSO's. I've found more useful information in the War Room than I have in WSO's and alot of times Warriors will give them away in the War Room as a way to say thanks to the forum for helping them to get to where they are today.

Taking action! That's the main thing! It's sad but true that many people buy WSO's but don't implement them! Procrastination won't work if one wants to succeed in IM!
