fiverr gigs - Do you research them?

For those of you who use fiverr to make extra cash, or even a living, how to you come up with a gig?

Do you do kw research, market research, competition analysis?

Love to hear feedback and mostly from top rated sellers.

    For me, I just create gig based on what I can offer i.e. writing article, create backlinks, English-Chinese translation etc...

    no i never do any keyword research but yes i promote those gigs in some forums from where i get some traffic but most of the traffic comes direct...in my opinion the subject or topic of the gig matters...

    I'd struggle to make it worthwhile. Just the amount of management of the whole process required for $4 mean that there are better ways of making money for me.

    Now, if you're in a country where the economy is different and $4 buys a lot more, Fiverr's an excellent place for you to make a bit more money.

    I do get some bargain services from people who haven't really worked out how long a Gig will take before offering it (or, who have occasionally been happy to run it as a loss leader).
