I have a handful of sites receiving 10k+ pageviews a month and -other than $30 in adsense and 50 or 60 people clicking the amazon link to related books but not purchasing - have not been able to properly monetize.

The niche has a handful of directly related CPA offers on click bank, a crazy amount of books, entire institutions that make a lot of money off of these types of clients, and other clothing and items on amazon and other places that are directly related.

Anyone with some ideas of how I could finally squeeze a couple bucks a day even out of these sites? It is 12 sites total most have 5k pageviews a month but 4-5 of them are 10-15k and they are all related to the same niche as I was originally going to sell ad space on them as I can offer 80-100k views a month TOTAL but not per site so things like buysellads are out of the question. Please help I feel like step one is done, step two monetizing remains a mystery.

I am sorry if this is in the wrong area I wasn't really sure what would be best.

Here are the most common ways to monetize a blog. (It sounds like you've tried these things already.)

Adsense (or other Text Ads Network)
Affiliate Marketing (Digital Products - Clickbank)
Affiliate Marketing (Physical Products - Amazon)
Selling Banner Ad space (You don't need to go through BuySellAds). You may be able to manage them yourself through a plugin (assuming that you are running on WP) You could try to attract advertisers through Fiverr.com. Something like $5 for 30 Days. Just to "test" the banners. If the banner ads are getting clicks then the advertisers may want to renew at a regular rate.

If you had 12 blogs getting at least 5k pageviews. You may be able to sell 6 125x125 ads on each blog at $10 per month (more for the 10k-15k pageviews). But at $10 per ad equals $60/month for each blog and $720/month for all 12 blogs (72 advertisers total each month.)

I'm not sure how this compares to your Adsense revenue. If you meant $30 per month per blog or if you meant total.

For the first few months, take the revenue generated from those blogs and invest in more traffic. Then you would be able to charge more per ad for new advertisers in the future.

Finally, you could create a web browser toolbar, offer that as a download to your website visitors. Then monetize the toolbar for even more revenue. Find out more about this from What is Toolbar Marketing | The Death of Email Marketing

Good luck! I hope that this helps!

Put an opt-in email form on all of them and build a list to sell to in addition to the other methods that have already been mentioned.
