It's still down for me. This isn't looking good if this post is from 16 hours ago and it's still down.

All of Implix's companies are down (getreposnse, websitewizard, etc.). This happens about once a year. 2 years ago they were down for a week, right after I launched a product. Don't know why when they have problems they can't just put up an "under maintenance" page.

16 hours? That is definitely bad news. I just refreshed my browser 5 times wondering what's up with their site. They'll probably issue an explanation after they get it solved. I sure want to know what happened and if it's gonna be a repeating issue.

Sad part is, i sent a newsletter at around 9:00 am to 50k people this morning and right after it went down again. Imagine all the complaints I'm must be getting. This is definitely bad!

I think I'll be shopping for a new esp soon.

It's been down for me all day, I actually had to remove the opt-in form from one of my sites because it couldn't generate the form which caused the rest of the page not to load. It just so happened that I was working on that site at the time so I noticed but I'm sure other of my sites are not loading properly because of this too. That's a long time to be down for a big company like that IMHO.

  • Hi,

Unfortunately we've experienced problems at GetResponse on our NOC operator's side - they have an issue with their router that they're working on to fix, we're really sorry for this and we're doing everything we can to get back online asap.

      • We're still waiting for exact info from the NOC - will let you know as soon as we know anything for sure. Unfortunately nothing we can do to speed things up here.
We'll be updating our Twitter account @getresponse on the progress.

Apologies for this - we're really sorry this is happening.

Greatness is difficult to appreciate from close up. The great mountain on the horizon is only the ground when you are standing on it.

    • Hi All,

The problem, as has already been mentioned, was caused by the fact that the data center where we're hosted had a major router & connectivity outage and although all of our servers were in fact powered up and up 'n running, they were still not visible from the Internet because of this.

The people at the data center had to scramble to physically replace routers, cables and other devices. Since it happened on a Sunday and they had few engineers, this all led to a perfect storm of events that prolonged this downtime.

The issue was immediately spotted by our monitoring systems, however, since the problem was on our ISP side, it took longer than usual to resolve it. All services are back up now, and everything is working.

The bottom-line is that our datacenter let us down, but what
matters is that we let *you* down. And for that we are very sorry.

We'll work hard to make sure things like this don't happen again in the future.
