Something new to Youtube ????

I was looking at some videos on Youtube and I saw this link in the actual video, OK the first thing I'm thinking is "When did Youtube start allowing links embedded in the actual video?" then after looking closer I see "Ads by Google" down in the corner. Does anyone know more about. because frankly the last time a tried working with Google ads it proved so frustrating that I decided standing on the corner would probably be more productive and cost a lot less.

    I think there are an awful lot of folks on here
    using google adwords to great advantage...I
    know I am.

    It may be worth your while revisiting and/or
    buying a good book on advertising on google.

      Yeah you're probably . I'll have to look around and see If I can find anything on using Google adsense. It's just that the last time I tried it, it didn't see m to be working out. Maybe I just wasn't doing it right. My niche is the work at home make money online market.

    YouTube will allow you to monetize your videos with Google Adsense by invitation.

    If you have a video or channel that rapidly gets a lot of views and reviews, then YouTube will offer to let you join their monetization program. You will then get a share of the PPC similar to AdSense web sites.

    It goes with your account, so if you have one hot video that gets you invited into the program, all your videos from that account will benefit from AdSense ads.

      Actually it's been around for quite some time now but very few people know about it.

      I think in order to have the ads on your videos you have to apply to youtube first. They also have some other advertising program in which they put banners on your channel or the page when people are viewing your videos and give a share of the profits when people click on those banners.

    Yep this is true,

    I got an email from You Tube on Friday asking if i would like to monetize my videos.


    It basically says you have been selected to join YOU TUBE ad network. Please click this link to get started.

    Good luck with monetizing your you tube videos.

    Thats it.

    Obviously Google and YOU tube are ONE these days so i guess it was just a metter of time before it happened.

    When you apply to monetize your video, you have the risk of getting your video deleted if its not accepted for monetization, which is done thru manual review as of now... So if you created a genuine video go for monetization and else not.
