Is there a dedicated 'review my site' thread/room?

Can't seem to find one, and don't want to get blamed for spamming/self promotion.

Is there a dedicated room for asking for feedback on your site?

The Website Design section of the forums seems to be where feedback on websites is mostly saught. I'd suggest trying there first, although I do not know if there is a more specific section dedicated just to this. Maybe another more experienced member may be able to help you out with that.

I've asked for a review in the general forum - got some seriously good reviews, advice and help, so just go for it and ask politely for warriors to review your site.

Sorry, they must have changed the rules. Try the web development site. Your site is very clean and easy to navigate, shows well in my browser.

    Hi Jim.

Yours was the Piece of cake PR site, right? If so, I was wondering why that thread vanished before I finished typing my reply. Luckily, I saved my reply, if you'd like me to post it here or in a new thread, should you make one successfully, just ask

    Hi Trivium,

Feel free to post here or PM to me.

I'll set a new thread up in the website section later. Things are a bit busy right now, but I'll do it within the next few hours!

No worries. Since its late at night for me here, I'll just post it here, as I won't be awake in a few hours. Didn't have much to complain about though, the site was very nicely done . Hope you find my feedback useful.

I would suggest trying to limit the width of your page to (ideally) 800px wide for compatibility with most monitors. 1280px would probably be the largest you should go for. That said, the main culprit for the page stretching beyond the screen is that Questions cupcake loitering on the right hand side. Moving that, or making it a floating overlay would solve this problem.

I did notice also that on the examples page, often the name of the person being quoted appears half-way out, or completely outside the speech bubble. I'd suggest re-sizing the speech bubble graphic to fully encompass all the text.

Other than that, the site has a clean, professional feel, and looks quite nice. So all in all, I'd say you've done a good job, and I can't think of any other major points of criticism.
