Newbie's First $1000 Profits Online Strategy in Plain English

I am going to give you an online business strategy to make your first $1000 in your make money online quest. But you have to accept ONE GLARING FACT: People who make money on the internet are PROBLEM SOLVERS not MONEY SEEKERS. With that said, let's look at the critical steps to realize your goal.

Step 1: Don't Start With MMO Niche

Make money online niche is saturated. It will be difficult to make $1000 if you are still a greenhorn in internet marketing. Granted, MMO niche is lucrative and a vast market with rabid buyers but these buyers want to identify with known names. Mainstream online shoppers and buyers are very cautious with whom they buy from because they always think that make money online niche players are scammers. Think of get rich quick schemes and the people that have burnt their fingers.

You will make money from this niche market later on, don't worry. Here is the secret which you can take to the bank. Work on yourself first to start making money from non-IM niche. As soon as you are consistently making money even if it is $200 per month, you now have the proof to start making money in IM niche as a "mini-expert". Guess what, you will be surprised that there are lots of people out there who want to make a miser $200 per month without success. These are your subscribers and students and you are the mentor to that target audience, believe me!

Making money online is all about proof, proof, and proof. In law, the onus is on PROOF. If you say you are making it, show me how by proving it. In this Warrior Forum only, you can imagine how many members will buy a product or service authored by the able Warrior Forum owner if he releases one. Reason? You are already sold because there is evidence everywhere that he makes money. That is that.

Step 2: Forget About How Much You Want to Make

Thinking of how much you want to make in 4 weeks' time to pay mortgage, settle debt and all of that is a wrong approach to go about making money, both online and offline. Bill Gates never quantified how much he wanted to make when he founded Microsoft. No! He simply had a burning desire to solve a problem by providing a solution. And that is it.

Instead of thinking how much money you want to make before Christmas or summer, think of how big is the problem you want to solve. The bigger the problem you can solve, the greater the money you will make. Am I communicating? Good!

Step 3: Be Generous on Your Way Up

You never know where you will meet your biggest break-through in life. It could be from joint venture, interviewing an expert on a subject, blogging, being friendly in a forum like this and so forth. The bottom line of what I am saying is that be generous. Give out valuable free report, video, audio and you will be amazed the dividends that your generosity will pay you.

Step 4: There is No Secret About Making Money Online
Believe me or not, there is no secret about making money online. If there is any secret, you already know what it is i.e. build relationship, trust and credibility. Period! Another open secret about making money online as a newbie is hard work. This has no substitute if you are a newbie. Learn how to research niche market ideas and product, learn how to find right keyword phrases, learn how to register domain name and hosting your files, learn how to install WordPress blog or build website, learn how to promote your website and build backlinks, the list goes on. Unless you have the money to do all these tasks, it is simply hard work.

To prove what I am saying read this Warrior Forum member's post Month 1: $3117 - What I did in my first month of IM to make $3117.

Step 5: Follow a Business Model that Interests You

Every online business model that is not scam is a money maker. Your approach determines whether you will make money or not. Select a model and add your creative spin. Online business is nothing more than the following steps:

-Research and select a niche market and product to promote or create your own ebook, video, audio, etc
-Write a business plan of what you want to do.
-Conduct keyword research and select low competition long tail keywords
-Build a website or blog or outsource
-Optimize on-page factors on your blog or website
-Write quality articles and post on your blog which are on your subject
-Build backlinks to your website
-Promote, promote, and promote your website. (The hardest part of the game! No joke!)
-Track and tweak
-Make money

The gestation period from starting an online business to making money differs from Mr. A and Mr. B. You may start making money today, tomorrow, a month's time or a year's time. Yes, I know of a guy who started making money after 3 years of toiling and moiling but he was determined. The rest is now history.

If you want to buy any ebook or guide, let it be that you want to use it to reduce your learning curve or you want to know a secret strategy a guru is using to make money. You have to be up to date on this because you cannot know everything. Learning is a continuous process. On the internet no one is an island.

That is all for today. I have a business meeting to attend.

Yours truly,
GoingSomewhere

    Awesome post.

There is no secret about making money online. This is very true. While there are an endless amount of small tips and tricks, you basically learn the foundation for making money online on day 1. One of my biggest regrets online was waiting so long to start. I thought I had to learn every little detail before I dove in when in reality it's best to learn as you go and adjust.

Thanks for that excellent summary GoingSomewhere . It was very well written and informative. Also, being someone new to IM myself, its always nice to see strategies and guides targeted at us, as it really helps us get into the right frame of mind, and equips us to tackle the challenges ahead.

And just reading this article, when I first saw "MMO", the first thing that came to my head was "Massively Multiplayer Online games", for which that is a common abbreviation for. Goes to show I've still got a way to go before I get used to all the IM jargon

I think, its very important to learn the basics first ..IM is not a magical formula that you can explore in a weeks time. It needs labor, extensive research and experiments, but then the scope is endless.
