All marketing graphics for free?

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can use any marketing graphic found on the web for it's personal use?
I' m not speaking about pictures representing people, but mainly about abstract graphics.
For example, you find a beautiful red arrow and you use it for your sqeeze page.
Or you find a nice buy button and you use it on your sales page.
What do you think?
Did you grab some of these graphics for yourself?
Is there a copyright issue?

This is a kind of nebulous area. The more creativity that goes into a thing - and it doesn't have to be much - the more certain it is that it can be copyrighted.

A plain, flat red arrow? Probably not copyrightable. Add some basic effects? Maybe. Add a non-linear swirl and some shadowing? Probably can be.

Your best bet is to assume anything you didn't create from scratch or pay an honest artist to create for you is copyrighted and can't be used without permission.

As a general rule I wouldn't use any type
of graphic without the permission of the
    originator.

It's safer to hire someone to create the
graphic you need or to source a suitable
graphic from one of the many stock photo
    sites.

Yes, I agree, all this is very wise.
But if you look at the real life, it seems to be very different.
Will you really move if someone steal your buybutton?
    Personaly, I don't care!

So your rationale for not stealing people's graphics is that they shouldn't care if you do?

You already know the answer - you can't just go around stealing people's images.

Just because you don't like that answer and want us to tell you "hey, it's ok - go for it", doesn't mean we will.

      It's simple - DON'T STEAL PEOPLE'S STUFF.

If you're in any doubt then you probably shouldn't do it.

There are plenty of places to get images for a small price or free.

I notice you are a member of the War Room. There are a bunch of marketing graphics there that have been kindly given away for personal use.

I would not ever risk using a graphic without permission. While it's true some people won't mind (like yourself) there are others who certainly will. Why risk getting into bother?

Just to throw this out there.. On top79.com, you have several spelling and grammatical errors. I will point them out so you may change accordingly.

      (1) In the sentence: "Easy to instal in 10 seconds," "instal" should be "install."

      (2) In the video on your website, you have mistakenly typed "your's," when it should be "yours."

You're welcome. See that "thanks" button on the bottom right? Please press it. :p
