Paypals verified account

Hi I was wondering if anyone had any insight on paypals account verification status.

I have a website and affiliates promoting it. My account is in Sweden and I sell my products to the US market via affiliates. The problem with paypal is that they refund the entire purchase after a few days if that buyers account isn't verified. I can't tell each and every buyer to verify their account. How could I? First I don't know who it is until they buy, second it's time consuming to tell each one retrospectively after the fact, to verify the account. Should I call them to verify their adress? this defeats the whole logic with an automated payment system.

How can I resolve this?

    You CAN block unverified paypal accounts from sending you funds.
    You need to log into your PayPal account and click on "Profile".
    Then you will see "Payment Receiving Preferences" and this little gem:

    Block payments from U.S. users who do not provide a Confirmed Address: Yes No Ask Me

    Block payments from U.S. users who do have a verified PayPal account: Yes No Ask Me

    Hopefully this will provide you with a good start to solving your issues because I understand it can be a pain to manually get people to verify their PayPal accounts -- and many of those won't bother because too many people have "issues" with no wanting to verify the account.
