The bad part about affiliate programs....

Hi everyone,

On this thread I am sure that many of you will disagree with me which is fine.

Over the past few years my mentor has taught me how to make a full time income online with affiliate programs. In the past 3 years I have been doing OK. I have promoted between 25-50+ programs. Some where CPA offers that paid $3-$5 per lead. Some of the programs that I promoted came from clickbank. Some from Plimus.......You get the picture.

None of them were MLM and residual income programs.

Now, I have also being promoting opportunities on clickbank that showed the owner of the program claiming to earn FIVE and SIX figures per month and promise to show the average person how they made it and how they can too. Now, I know for a fact that all of that income did not come from their efforts BUT from the efforts of their hundreds and even thousands of affiliates.

For those of you who can never figure out how these guys and ladies are ranking in such huge profits online, this is how. They take every single customer and then turn them into affiliates.

If you do things right and start getting new sales everyday and new affiliate are promoting your product, you are going to make a lot of money if you are the vendor.

And if you are promoting work at home programs, the income of the vendor (product owner) will just grow and grow all the time to the point of making MILLIONS over the course of couple of years.

Now, let's say that you take one MLM program that has a good comp plan and a great product. Not to mention, an opt in page where the system does all the follow up and sorting for you. Your only job is to promote it consistently.

If I would promote 25-50+ programs over the past 3 years.....

Being conservative, let's say that each company would be making me $500-$1000 per month residual and growing. Now, if I would promote those 25-50+ programs as MLM and work one program at a time since 2008, I would right now earn between $12,500-$50,000+ per month.

The bad part about affiliate programs, is that even if they pay you a monthly recurring fee, you are not getting LEVERAGE income. You are not getting any duplication.

Did you ever hear the quote by the famous and wonderfully wealthy billionaire J. Paul Getty?

It goes something like this:

"I would rather earn 1% off the efforts of 100 people than 100% off the efforts of myself."

Long term, you should build a network marketing organization because of DUPLICATION.

If you are not, you are going to come back here to the forum in 2-3 years and still not have any long term residual income.

I can tell you one thing, a new chapter has opened up for me online and things are going to get better and bigger.
