A site that never goes down?

Hey

So this morning, I was doing a presentation for one of my computer classes (ugh, hs), and I was trying to decide what to talk about. I ended up doing the presentation on an emerging platform called cloudflare, which essentially enables your site to have little to no downtime..

Now, as you can imagine, this is insanely powerful for marketers.. I mean, anyone else had a site go down due to the large amount of launch traffic.. Yah.

Well, what cloudflare does is it mitigates when people connect to your site so it goes to their network, and then is distributed to your servers. If your server goes down, it provides a cached version of your site,

This is incredibly powerful, because your site literally never goes down, not even during hosting company outages., (and host gator users, hg goes down at lest 3-5 hours a year)...

Just an idea I thought I'd share.. Hope I put it in the right place

Nice concept for your presentation. However, aren't their Cloud systems out there that do the same thing? How about VPS? There are cheaper alternatives to an external system such as this.
