How do you 'cash in' on the Holidays?

Every December I see a huge increase in business - partly because I craft a genuine and very special offer each year, for the duration of the month.

I am just wondering what you do to increase business during the month everyone is in 'buying mode'.

Perhaps we can all share some ideas and learn from each other on this one.

    Last year I tried to create a site on Christmas Gift covering 10-15 niches, made just about $ 100. This year I decided to focus only on toys and made and sold about 100 Squidoo Lenses. Some of them are in the Top Tier. Of course, the individuals who bought the Lenses from me will keep the revenue from the sales and the CPC ad pool.

    Next year, I intend to create a couple of blogs and around 500 Squidoo Lenses - covering hot toys for Christmas 2012. Hope I won't have to sell them.

      I have several sites that target products that people buy as gifts, so around this time of year my sales go up. I also pay attention to any items that are on sale within my niches and make posts pointing out these special deals.

    Congratulations on being able to increase your sales in December. My company has an increase in sales, but it is primarily because of special offers that we come up with this time of the year. During this process, we normally add new customers. While there is an increase in sales, the dollar amount is slightly higher compared to the rest of the year. This is because our services are discounted at a higher level at Christmas time. It all balances out overall, which is a good thing indeed. Best wishes to you.
