Another Craigslist question

I've been getting emails lately on how to make money on Craigslist.

Does anyone know anything about this? Is just selling stuff or is there another way working for them?

Anyone heard of this?

    You can make money selling stuff, finding leads for your list, with adult affiliate programs, or even CPA. It's not as easy as everyone makes it sounds because you're usually breaking Craigslist TOS and pissing off die-hard CL fans.

    Stan,

    It can be a great strategy for certain niches and systems... but it can also be a pain! You can only post ads that are considered "unique" by the system, and that can take time... theres also no good way to automate the process except to outsource it for cheap.

    Here are a few tips if you want to experiment:
    1. Use *** or other ASCII images to draw attention to your header
    2. Try posting right before/after midnight if you are in a busy section (this puts your ad right around the break between days and gets more clicks due to ease of scanning)
    3. You can only post unique ads, BUT you can post the same ad each day (or repeatedly thru the day) if you delete the old one
    4. Use Google Trends to see which cities have high searches for your keywords.. and then cross reference with the CL sites to see which ones have low ad numbers for your section.
    Using CL can be really great if its done right. I built a list of 300 highly targeted real estate investors in less than a month with just one ad a day. That doesn't sound too impressive, but when you are talking about thousands of dollars on each sale, its great.
