What is the best way to research facebook for the best selling
products & that get the most searches & likes on facebook.

Is there any software programs that do this searches for
the hottest groups, fan pages for a specific market.

Haven't heard of it, why don't you create it? Not sure if this is possible...

There isn't any service at present that shows the best facebook posts.

This could be because some facebook accounts are set to private.

However, it would be nice to see a Top 10 Most liked Post on Facebook.
It would give us an excellent insight on what works in terms of social media.

It seems like there's a possibility out there for that, and here's why I think this:

When multiple friends post updates about "Christmas" for example, on your news feed it will group those posts together because they are all about Christmas. Therefore, FB is obviously keeping track of the words in status updates.

It seems like someone who is good at data mining/coding (and someone WAY smarter than me) could somehow collect this data and display it.

Just my thoughts. Absolutely not fact-based at all.

Facebook does some of this for you:

    1. Type a keyword to search in the Facebook search bar. But wait...don't click right away. A pop up box will appear with relevant matches, and down at the bottom there is a link "See more results for ....." (... is the keyword you typed) . Click the "See more results" link.

A new search results page will appear for your keyword. On the left, you can dig into the People, Pages, Groups, Apps, Events, Music, Public Posts, Posts by Friends etc. for that specific keyword.

Priceless info. I don't think many people use this feature.
