hello my dears mates ...
my question is that how i can detect or found out about any ebook that it is actually copyrighted or have fake logo of copyright just to show the people.
Many time marketer just put the fake logo of copyright on their ebooks and selling them in the market i just buy a ebook and want to know that it is actually copyrighted or have fake logo...

I don't understand your question. (Do you?)

If I write a book or just one sentence like this one - it is copyrighted: I own the copyright and if I put there the © sign, it is not fake

Seriously, whether the © is there or not it doesn't matter. The author owns the copyright. There is no such thing as "fake logo of copyright". Somebody always has the copyright!

P.S. Stop worrying about irrelevant things

You REALLY need to stop with all of the plagiarizing ideas and do the work YOURSELF. It really is insulting that I've seen multiple threads started by you in the past couple of days trying to game the system.

Do the work yourself and you won't have to worry about any of these problems that you've been bringing up. Simple as that.

          - You asked how to use Wiki material without giving credit to Wiki.

          - You asked how to use articles others have written (taken from article directories) without giving credit to the authors.

          - Now you are asking about "fake" copyright? When something is put online it is automatically copyrighted. With or without the "copyright symbol" - most of the writing you see online is copyrighted by the author or by the person who hired the work done.

If you can't write your own articles and ebooks - pay a freelance writer to do the job for you and then YOU can copyright it. You are looking for ways to use the work of others as your own - and you need to stop.

          No. You'd be a pirate.

Not the "cool" kind. More like the kind most of us refer to as a "thief." Or, more accurately, a leech.

          I suppose it's a lifestyle choice.

        That's called piracy and plagiarism.

The ebooks you are speaking of do not have fake copyright. The person who writes them automatically has copyright, whether they register for copyright or not.

So ... you're trying to figure out a way to steal people's stuff, am I correct?

Technically, everything I write and post in this forum is copyright by me, because I wrote it.

If you did not write the ebook, then you cannot claim the copyright for that item.

And if someone puts a copyright on that written work, without registering first with the copyright office, they still own the legal copyright.

Take a look at this thread and see his theory of fake copyright in action.

And this thread where he wants to strip out resource boxes from articles he gets from article directories

And then here where he also wants to strip out source links from copied wiki material

I am confident that most people here would not consider themselves your "mates", indeed, many of us would consider that to be an insult.

We might believe that if this was the first time (or perhaps even the second) you had stolen others work - or asked about how to get away with it. By the fourth time (at least! And that is only things you have posted on this forum) This sounds very insincere.

Because you got caught and called out on it?? What is pricking your conscience now?

On the contrary - thank you. You have revealed yourself quite nicely, we now know exactly how much business we should give you - or accept off you. We also know how much help we should give you when you need it.

I hope this thread sticks around for anyone else who may be thinking along the same lines.

I will always say write your own content, or have someone write it for you, never copy other people's work.

Not only is it insulting and disgusting to the original author, you will almost certainly hear from their lawyer for a breach of copyright regardless of whether or not there was a sign there to tell you.

You don't actually need to pay anything to get your stuff copyrighted if I understand correctly? Is it is not like with actual products where you need to register to get a certificate?

Correct. But if you do register your copyright then you gain additional legal rights, such as being able to recover statutory penalties without needing to prove damages, if someone infringes your copyright.

Everything is copyrighted from the moment it's put in a form where it able to be shared. That was an amendment to the copyright law some time in the late 80's I think.

Anyway, I may not know the actual date, but I do know that part of the law because at the time I was an visual artist who spent forever filling out forms and paying for copyrights.

When the copyright office informed me that I no longer had to do all that to be protected, I was so happy.
