Some advice please

Hi all


I am relatively new to internet marketing and have put together 5 sites so far but no profit yet though have achieved a page 1 rank for 2 sites.

I was thinking of writing a report on how the page 1 rank was achieved (even though it's not made me any money yet!!!).

Do you think this is worthwhile for me to do and perhaps sell it for a few dollars. I don't really want to spend time on this if its not worth while. Maybe a market for it maybe not.

Any thoughts?

    That depends on if you've come up with some new method to achieve your rankings. If not, you might have a hard time selling it. There are a lot of products out there that focus on improving your rankings.

    My suggestion would be to create a short report and give it out free in order to build your name, you credibility, and your mailing list (if you have one). People do this successfully all the time.

      I would definitely give the report away for free with a link inside to your blog or maybe one of your other sites.

      Visitors that find value in your posts will return and perhaps buy something.

    It seems to me that if you have a page 1 rank for 2 sites and you're not making money, there's something about those sites that causes visitors to not stay long enough to notice, let alone consider, whatever you're using to monetize the site.

    If your methods are new, clever and original I'd go for it.

    Getting a site to #1 is nothing special. It depends highly on the niche and competition that site is in. If you had site on #1 for terms such as "SEO services" you'd get a lot of interested customers.

    I think writing free reports on how you rank your site is a good idea. You already got traffics from your #1 and #2 rank websites so why not offer them something to download on your site? :-)

    I reccomend that you send your report out as a freebie to start with, and as you discover more about how SEO works, and you have some subscribers that you are giving quality advice too, maybe then you could write something about that subject, and sell.

    I think several folks may have read your question incorrectly. You are asking whether you should do a report on how you ranked your sites, maybe a WSO, and sell it, despite the fact that you have not made any money on the sites. Am I correct? If so, I would not recommend that until you do have something profitable, as having something profitable will make for a real selling point.
