Anyone Use DLGuard with WSO Pro?

Hi

I wonder if anyone has mastered the art of combining the use of these two and has a video demo to sell or make available? Alternatively, step-by-step instructions would be much appreciated.

Or am I duplicating the security feature? By that, I mean do each of them do the same thing - ie protect one's download links from being shared?

    I think you are duplicating efforts using both, since DLG handles the download delivery, and just about everything sans the affiliate component.

    DLG does have an IPN repost feature which you could use with 3rd party scripts like WSO Pro.

    I would check with Sam Stephens of DLG. He offers great support and has a forum to boot.

    Thanks, Alan. I'll do as you suggest now that Sam is back from his brief break.

    In the meanwhile, does WSO Pro (or DLG, for that matter) protect files once they are downloaded? Or is the protection from each of these software programs limited to protecting the download links from being shared?

    Thanks for your interest in DLGuard!

    I'm working with Mike from WSO Pro to set up a DLGuard integration.

    The benefit of using WSO Pro and DLGuard together is that you can offer membership areas for sale from within a WSO. WSO Pro is also just designed for WSO's, and so by combining it with DLGuard, you can sell WSO's using WSO Pro, and DLGuard to sell from your website directly.

    So I think it'll be quite a powerful combination!

      Glad to have you respond, thank you.

      I've posted here and also on DLG Forum and having read through a number of posts, I've finally got it that if one is using WSO Pro, then DLGuard may not be needed (assuming one has a main product, only, which can be uploaded to WSO Pro instead of being hosted on one's own site.

      However, since I propose having an OTO, also, which involves me entering the URL of the OTO (hosted on my site) in the "delivery URL" box of WSO Pro, I presume neither of my download pages (download page for main product, if OTO is not purchased) and the download page for both main and OTO (if OTO is purchased) will not be protected by WSO Pro. That being the case, I'd need to use my DLGuard purchased recently, to offer the protection required.

      I'm trying to set up a membership site with DLGuard but not sure how to go about this and wonder if there's anyone around who has created such a video tutorial.

      Any ideas, suggestions, tips and tricks, please?
