Weir links from russia!? what is it?

I own a webshop and i have recently noticed that people click to my page from weird russian sites, many, everyday a new one? what is this? and I cant find the actual link?

    If it's Fred Weir, I think it's probably from Forbes Magazine: Weir links from Russia.

    Hi,

    Are you not able to look at your webstats to find the sites that are sending you the visitors?

    I had something like this on one of my sites. They were coming from a number of German sites (.de domains). Turns out they were traffic exchange thingies. No harm done except they played havoc with interpreting traffic conversion rates and so on.

    If it turns out that this traffic is useless/unwanted, you might be able to get it blocked by your webhost. (Not sure about that though.)
