QR Code Board = rent out time for shop promotions
Buy a sandwich board or large display sign that has a QR Code on it. For this to really work you need a Code that you can schedule in advance across the year, otherwise you'll be working 24/7.
Here's the thing. Place the QR Code board in a mall or outside busy retail parks (ask the mall director/sales manager etc for permission - small fee, never any problems) and then rent out or lease time to businesses to advertise on the QR Code board for say $10-20 for 2 hrs. Price increase/decrease is dependant on time of day. So for example, lunch hour is expensive but 9am might not be. Why not try at 50 bucks for lunch time and 5pm, when folks are about?
Shops then bid for time and provide you with their promo messages/links/videos and so on. The key to a successful campaign is to collate all the data from the shops and then add the en masse in advance to the QR Code and watch the cash flow in.
