Should I merge my dating blogs?

Hi guys,

I have four dating advice blogs and I am wondering if I would be better to transfer the posts from three and have just the one blog. I figure it would be easier to get a better ranking on one blog than four. It would also mean I would not have to write as many posts each week (not that I mind writing) and I would have around 180 posts on the one blog. I am wondering about the benefits, if any, of having four blogs in the same niche. Would love to hear any opinions on this. Thanks.

    That sounds drastic. I'm sure the articles have all been indexed to each of your four sites and I fear that the articles that get switched might be considered as duplicate content.

    Are the four sites all hosted on one IP address? Try hosting them all on separate C Class IP addresses and link them together creating a mini network.

      Hmmm, thank you. I hadn't even thought about the duplicate content issue. Just shows how much I have to learn.

      They are all on the one IP address. I'd never heard of C Class IP addresses until now. I will research this and find out how to create a network.
