Displaying Images In An RSS Feed In Wordpress

Hi Warriors,

I'm working on a project now where I need to display an RSS feed in a Wordpress widget and include the images in it.

When I check the RSS Feed XML the images are there, I can see the code.

However, when I try to display the RSS feed in the sidebar no images are shown. I've tried different plugins and can get it to show the images but to excerpt but I want the title, image and excerpt there.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

    Hi Jason,

    This could depend highly on where your RSS feeds are coming from. As an example there are:

    Flickr*Widget — Support — WordPress.com
    http://www.cnet.ro/wordpress/picasa-widget/
    WordPress › RSS Image Widget « WordPress Plugins
    WordPress › Image Feed Widget « WordPress Plugins

    I suspect there are many other options and ones specializing in Amazon or other product feeds.

    You might want to tell us which plugins you've tried and where the feed is coming from. That might help narrow down the answers.

    Hi Jason,

    It depends where it's coming from.

    Google recently changed the way they handle rss feeds and broke a lot of plugins.

    I was creating one at the time so I saw it by accident.

    Hi all,

    Thanks for your input so far. The RSS feed is from another Wordpress blog. I'm after taking the RSS feed from this other blog and posting it on a different blog with the images in it.

    I'll go try the image widgets recommended, I think I've tried those already (I've gone through a good half dozen or so), but will give them another go.
