Another Social Bookmarking Question

Hey Warriors,

So from what I understand Social Bookmarking is a form of Back-linking among other things. I have a Blog with about 20 blog posts and about 5 pages. For each page and blog post I digg, facebook share, tweet, delicious and stumbled.
(the blog is about a month old)

According to webmasters tools out of all these social bookmarks only 4 of them are appearing as links to my site. 3 out of the 4 are from Digg and the other 1 is from Twitter.

So If social bookmarking is a form of back-linking, what other steps should I take to get these social bookmarks indexed and feeding me juice?

Should I perhaps stay away from the sites like delicious and stumbled since they don't appear to be providing back-links or is there another step I need to do like constantly pinging each bookmark? Or maybe social bookmarking my social bookmarks? :p

Thanks guys!

I would just use a free social bookmarking site that does not take a lot of time or effort and not worry about indexing bookmarks.

There are several sites out there that work very well. One of the sites you click a button and bookmark other peoples content and earn credits to get yours bookmarked. At another site, you can just load up your URL's and click a button.

Getting bookmarks indexed is not a good use of time.

Some times it just takes Google (and the other search engines) time to find the sites and index them. I usually ping to several sites. You can also try onlywire and sign up to several sites and then when you make a post, it will send to around 50 social sites at once. It takes a lot of time to get them all set up, but once set up it's a good way to get your link out. If you need any help you can skype me at Todd_Rutledge

There are thousands of Pligg powered social bookmarking sites other than digg, delicious. You can submit your pages to these sites and let search engines find the backlinks naturally.

They do take some time to get found by the search engines, but you will also get direct traffic from social bookmark sites . . . look at where your traffic is comming from (most hosts provide tools that show this). I was surprised to find how much of my traffic was comming direct from some of the social bookmark sites . . . even before Google has indexed the bookmark, a LOT of people use those social-bookmark sites to find recommended pages anyway.

    Indexation of social bookmarking URLs

If you want that your social bookmark links should also indexed by Google than at this point you need to take the help of some automatic software such as xrummer or similar ones - Linklicious.me - Scheduled RSS Feeds to get your Backlinks Crawled FAST can be also good option.

Make sure that your social bookmarking links should be at there ... or not removed (many links from software submission removed)
