What do you do with you .xxx domain now?

If it's live, and ready to go - what are you planning to do with it now?

Seems like apart from gay.xxx, none of the .xxx domains are indexed by google.

Interestingly, "tossedsalad.xxx" is live as well. Godaddy has parked the page on behalf of the lucky owner LOL

Also it appears that "missionary.xxx" is still available for registration. So a church could either get in on this or...maybe you Ed?!?!? Hurry!

Rofl, perhaps you should register it yourself!

Well Ed, actually as a person who loves to bake, I wanted to sell some of my wares online...therefore I was hoping to get the domain "creampies.xxx" but it's taken

So I'm gonna take that as a sign that it's just not meant to be!

Do you think google will give these new domains any weight in the SERP's?

Also, Adsense - will they treat them as adult domains?

Will google give these new domains any weight in the SERPS?

Of course they will...the new .xxx domain extensions are just as "valid" as a .com is.

EXAMPLE? Google ranks new .xxx site higher than its .com | DomainIncite - Domain Name News & Opinion

      Adsense?

That's a better question. Under Google's Adsense TOS, any site with adult content is not allowed to use it's Adsense code...

So the question remains then, will Google automatically disqualify any site with the .xxx extension as being "adult" even if the .xxx site doesn't have adult content?

That remains to be seen. I don't think anybody can answer that at the moment.

However, one would logically think that Google would approve sites manually for Adsense without taking into account the domain extension. For example, a website with a .edu extension or .org extension could be a "porn" site, too. Therefore, if somebody had "books.xxx" and they actually did sell "normal" books or had a content site on how to write books, why shouldn't that site be approved for Adsense?

In the end, I think Google will treat all extensions equally and what will matter in the end is the website content and not the extension.

Why would anyone with no adult content even buy an xxx domain? They're expensive and many of the good ones (for the adult biz) will have been auctioned off prior to them being open to public registration.
