A priceless reward for pointing someone to a WSO

One thing I didn't count on doing IM was the fan mail.

Or better yet fan email. It was because someone I know was asking about making money online and I just forwarded them to a WSO I had bought a while ago. They bought it, used it and made money! Made quite a bit actually that kept the wolves off the door.

They sent me an email thanking me but also one of their fans ( my friend is radio talk show hostess ) whom she turned onto the WSO sent me an email as this fan made money.

I had made some money from the WSO but put it away as I had other income to focus on. It's cool to see that some people can pick up a WSO, run with it and grow. I know many IMers have affiliate programs where they pay people to sell a WSO or a program and that's cool too. The reward here is priceless that some people got their lives turned around relatively easy just for pointing them in the right direction.

Sure getting paid is fine, that's what marketing is about but sometimes there are other rewards you can't put a price on.

Regional Warrior, I've seen many people on WF have their lives turned around from just one WSO or tip. You just never know when it'll happen. It's showing me that there are WSOs, programs, etc. that do work and that I need to keep a list of them to show others who are in need.

Yes, the biggest rewards for me are when someone emails me to tell me they have made money with one of my websites or with some information I have given them. I get so excited because once one sees the results of making money online (even if it's only $1) they know it can be done and that they can now take control and turn that into even more money.

Fan mail is great. I had one ebook at scribd for a year and after a year I went to check it for no reason and found a ton of positive comments. That really gave me a smile.

The same is with WSO's. When someone send me their adsense screenshots and how much I've helped them. That is awesome

It's amazing how much a little 'thank you' message warms my heart.

I have a six month coaching program where I encourage students to blog weekly about their journey. This both helps them to keep up to date, but in the process gives me some nice feedback/fan messages, which are always fulfilling to read.

Internet Marketing can be lonely, but we all need to know our work is doing some pod from time to time...

A simple thank you can go a really long way.

    Great story.

It's easy to forget that the purpose of marketing is not just 'make money', it's 'make money by helping people solve their problems'.

    and that's a good thing

I have to say that this is one of the reasons why I am an IM'er. I want to influence lives. One of my goals once I don't have a 9-5 job is to put together a WSO that will be strictly a charity WSO...or in other words, all the profits go to a charity. I so want to do this because I have come from a poor family and have to work hard to change my life from poverty mentality to business mentality.

I'm glad to see others who appreciate doing a good deed. That's the real proof of the pudding.

It's been a little over a year I've been doing IM intensely. Going through all the WSO stuff was eating up too much of my time. I looked at the income programs that had posts where IMers actually posted results not "great WSO!" or "This program will rock!". Made a list of the WSOs and programs that I saw newbies and pros alike using. Then when my friend asked about IM I just shot over a link. In my line of work in major media I can't send out a bogus link. My colleagues reach tens of millions of people. I may be over cautious in pitching IM programs and WSOs but when you work for corporations that I do you can't afford one mistake.

I have another friend who is a comedienne. I got her to do some content creation. Copywriting and she started into it. Then I got to meet the rest of the comedians around Hollywood who have no clue about IM but these people are on TV do movies and more. They would rule in IM with their personalities but they have to be taught as sometimes there's a long stretch between jobs. Once I get my library of WSOs and programs organized it will help me help them even more.

Also, active and retired military, active and retired law enforcement. These folks have connections but don't know IM. Lucky I have friends in family at the tops of these areas. Gotta send links and tips that are for real. IM can become a monster industry when things are cleared up and people can get educated about it.

Sure not everyone is going to be a millionaire but it's that extra $500 a month or $2,000 a month that can change a person's life and get ahead for once and stash away something for a rainy day.

It really is gratifying to get positive emails. It really helps drill home the fact that you need to care about how well your subscribers or followers do and not just how well you do.

If you take care of others, they will reciprocate. Everybody wins.

I gotta agree with you there Brendan. I make it a policy never to get angry with a client even if they're acting like a moron. It just fuels the fire.

It pays to be courteous especially on forums. Everyone is a potential customer and being a rude like some people get only turns around to bite them in the butt later.
