INTERNET MARKETING

Hi All-

I am new here and have heard through the grapevine that you all are a quite helpful bunch of folks!

I am a new stay at home mom who is desperately trying to find a way to work from home. I love to write and I would love to somehow make money writing, but not real sure where to start. I have looked into article writing, but it seems a bit difficult to make a living...or maybe I just don't know what I am doing :p.

Anyway, if any of you can offer me some suggestions or point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.

Also, if I have posted this in the wrong place, just kick me out and tell me where to go (I'm kinda new at this whole "forum thing")!

HI Tbyrd626,

Welcome - only one direction. Stay out of the WSO and classified sections until you have read around the forum a bit. Helps to get you settled and pointing you in the right direction thats best for you first.

Hi...welcome to WF..

Well if you have the interest in writing then article writing is not a bad option at all.... As the Panda updates going on everybody wants to update their contents regularly and if you have a good skills then you can earn threw it....

There are other options too... You can sell SEO services, do affiliate marketing...PPC, ad sense programs...a lot things are there.....

if you want to know more about this industry then give some time to this forum you'll automatically grab some knowledge from here... Just require a lot reading here and learning too.........!!!!!

Welcome to the forum.

As a writer, you have lot of options. You can start your own blog on a particular niche and monetize your blog...or you can simply provide writing services for others.

While you're learning the basics of everything, set up a basic blog and brand yourself as a writer with some samples of content that you've written.

Writeswap.com is just one of the many places that you can start extending your services to start off with. Of course, there's marketers seeking for some writers right here in the forum as well.

Hello and a warm welcome Tbyrd26, my advice is the same as a number of other warriors here, and that is to take your time, and read through the forum, while staying away from the classified section.

This way, you will be able to soak up the wealth of knowledge here.

Welcome newbie! I am new myself but something that I have learned is to do what you are doing by browsing through the different threads. Something to consider is going the help wanted section of this forum and see if you can fulfill any of those needs. Some of the WSO's offer some pretty cheap ways to get started on the long term part of this journey. One that I am doing myself is: Dedrick And Tomey Coaching Program Super Cheap This is a mentoring program that is fairly inexpensive and providing great results. Look to the One Time Offer as well.

If you're interested in writing articles you should read posts by:

Alexa, AnniePot, and Nicole Beckett

They offer a wealth of information and it will save you searching the entire forum.

If you're interested in learning about writing articles to sell as PLR then Tiffany Dow and Peggy Baron both offer great courses on the subject.

Hi Tbyrd, welcome...

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet, but I would advise that you start building your list. Don't worry, you'll still get to do plenty of writing

The difference would be instead of selling your content for an immediate few bucks, you could post on a blog and get a newsletter series going. You could then send your visitors to your blog, affiliate offers, etc.. and possibly make your money selling products.

The benefit with this strategy would be the more subscribers you have, the more traffic you'll be able to leverage for any single offer.

Naturally, you could get into freelancing also as a means to help fund advertising.

Of course take your time, look around for a while, and feel free to ask questions if you ever get stuck. This forum is a great resource.

Welcome to WF I'm sure you will be able to find some of the writing posts around here, and there was also a post somewhere called "10 Ways to Make 10k" where writing was one of the 10 methods, and there is a step-by-step guide for it It should be in the free ebook section, so that might be an additional starting point for you. Hope you find something good and interesting!

hello and welcome to the forum! If you really like to write, that a great thing. Try to start your blog and monetinize it. Get some tools as well like for keyword SEO optimization so your blog will get some good traffic easier. Use the search form to find out some useful topics here.
