Too much affiliate marketing?

As I develop my blog/website, is there such a thing as having too much affiliate marketing? I started out with Amazon then moved on to a coupon site and now I'm thinking about becoming an affiliate of a free shipping site. The coupon connection I thought would be great and I would dedicate a page to it. Since my niche is parents/kids, I am able to have that page for searches for great coupons. Every coupon they use or print, I get a piece of that. The free shipping site I used for Christmas so I could get free 2 day shipping on my purchases. They offered a 30 day trial so I plan to cancel before Christmas. Anyways, thought this would be something people might want to use. So basically, can I just keep adding on these things, or can it be too much? On the other hand, not sure how people would even know that I make money off of it. To me, I am adding value by having so many relevant options on my website.

There's nothing wrong with monetizing your site with multiple methods. It's really just a matter of how it's laid out. You don't want a site smothered in affiliate offers. As long as they tie together well and they provide interlinking value, you'll be fine.

"TAKE ACTION" is the first thing everyone tells you and then they leave it at that. I'll add a second part: TRACK EVERYTHING" - It's the only way to ensure your ACTION leads to results.

You need to test and find an even keel.

Find out which affiliate programme (or even adsense) makes you the most money, the best placement on your blog (eg. is it a left side bar, the right side bar, half way down the page or under a post).

Watch your stats, your bounce rates and find an optimum mix of the 'best converting' advertising.
