How do I customize iContact forms?

INTERNET MARKETING

This is an embarrassingly noob question, I know, but I tried searching and I can't find anything. How do I customize iContact sign up forms? The one you can create with its generator is really crappy, and obviously there are so many ways to integrate contact forms into squeeze pages. I want to start with customizing iContact's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You must learn about HTML editor and use desktop application Kompozer to edit it.

Thanks for the suggestion. Kompozer doesn't seem to work for me though. I copied a piece of code that's supposed to be the sign up form, but it still shows as code in preview tab?

Also, it doesn't seem too newbie friendly.

  Have you checked 123contactform.com? I was having the same problem you were having and all I could find where WP integration but nothing for stand alone html forms. I'm givine 123contactform.com a try.
