Hey Warriors!

I thought I'd share some success I've had with a small targeted email list (about 300 subscribers so far). It's a list I've put together the past 6 weeks in regards to MMO niche. I've been sending my subscribers quality tips once a week without selling anything.

We'll just recently I sold a domain for $675 to a buyer from this email list. I bought the domain exactly 6 months back for $50. So I made a nice profit.

It's very important to send your list quality info/have a good relationship AND patience...Don't just spam your lists to death with offers!

Best of luck,
Ahmad

    Awesome!

It doesnt really speak for your mailing list as a whole though - rather a single person who seen value in a domain you owned. You don't have to hard sell a domain. Someone either wants it, or they don't. It's good someone in your list was a taker though for sure!

    Wishing you further success!

      Definitely agree with you!

But I can tell you I'm seeing good email responses from this list (more people emailed about other domains for sale after that 1 single sales email) vs. another email list I have (with 1300 subscribers and I never really built a good relationship with them. and I sent a few offers 2 weeks back to that list with low response).

      Thanks!
      Ahmad

    Well done.

The real key is for newbies...they think you need to have a list longer then my ....well....you know....

but the thing is it is not about having a HUGE list....its about how you treat them and how good your relationship is with them.

That is what counts in any world. I have found it works better in the NON im niches too. Yes, shock horror!!

I absolutely agree with you that you should have a trust worthy relationship with your subscribers and not spam them with countless emails. Sending them quality content once a week will gain their trust and they will be happy to purchase something every now and then to show their appreciation. Good job!

I always remind myself about how important to communicate and build strong relationship with my subscribers. Build trust and give more valuable information to them rather than sending them tons of offer. They can become good customer and returning buyers if you treat them well :-) Just my 2cents

Congrats. You're ahead of most people already. It's unfortunate (for them) how few people realize what you really need to do with a list in order to be successful.

You hit on the nail there.A good responsive email list is gold!

To own a good responsive email list you must have a decent

    Relationship with your list.

Remember Give to Get!!! And that rule applies anywhere in this universe.

It's a law that only a few do understand. But has a tremendous power to it !!
