Simple split-commissions affiliate script?

Hi,

Do you know of a simple affiliate script that splits Paypal commissions?

Something like what WarriorPro does.

I want it to be hosted on my server and I need the affiliate to be required to enter as little info as possible. Even just his paypal address.

  • You can try the $7 Secrets script. It should do the job for you. Plus, I believe you can find it for free in various places, though you'll probably have to search around for it. If you just want to buy it you can get it at the $7 Secrets site directly from the create for, not surprisingly, $7.

    The script is easy to install, from what I understand, and doesn't require the affiliates to do anything but put their Paypal email address at the end of the affiliate URL (i.e., yoursite/yourproduct.html?=affiliate@payme.com) if I remember correctly.

    The script won't actually split the commissions 50/50 (or however you set it up). Instead, it uses a rotating commission scheme. For example, if your affiliate commission is 50% then it rotates payments between you and the affiliate. If I sent you 100 sales as an affiliate and your product was priced at $10 then you would be paid $10 50 times and I would be paid $10 50 times. In other words, every other sale is credited to me as an affiliate and paid, in full, directly to my Paypal account while you would be treated similarly.

    1) Can this script split the commissions any way I want? For example, 70-30, 80-20 etc?

    2) Also I was hoping for something that would have basic tracking so that affiliates can see their stats.

    • I'm pretty sure you can split it any way you want but, like I said, it just rotates the commissions rather than truly "splitting" it between you and the affiliate. For example, in a 70/30 split, seven of every 10 sales will end up going to the affiliate and three will go to you rather than giving 70% of the sale price of each sale to the affiliate and 30% of it to you.

      I'm not sure whether or not the $7 Secrets script has affiliate stats that are available to the affiliates. You, as the product owner, probably get to see who is referring how many sales, etc. but I don't know if there's any way to show that to affiliates automatically. You could probably just set up a separate page and post those stats yourself if the script doesn't do it for you automatically.
