He's asking his money back but didn't pay anything (funny)

Hi guys,

Someone sent me an email asking for his money back. So I asked him his Receipt Number and here's his reply:

"I'm very sorry if I wasn't clear in my explanation. I will put it again:

That means, that I didn't order any product but I paid for reading your promotion video.

You stated that if I wasn't convinced - better said "persuaded" - at all you would give my money back. I paid around $0.50 for reading your promotion video: time to read on the Internet."

The promotion video was the video in my sales letter. I don't know if I should get mad or laugh.

Note: I never paid for any "get paid to read or watch" scheme.

Just laugh it off. A very sad attempt at being clever. If he really thought it through he wouldn't have asked for money back (he didn't pay any) but rather send you an invoice for his wasted time.

I've gotten several emails lately from people asking for a refund when I know for a fact that they didn't buy anything from me. I think it's a new clever way for spammers to try and make some easy money from people giving them refunds for something they never purchased. I don't see how anyone would fall for it but I bet plenty of people do.

Had you utilized the free information provided in the video I have no doubt you would now be thanking me for boosting your income.

Send him an invoice for $499.50 for wasting your time with such a ridiculous request ($500 for your wasted time, minus the .50 for his wasted time).

And tell him that any further attempt at wasting your time will be charged at an additional $500 for each ridiculous email replied to.

      Problem solved.

Please its not a laughing matter.

A lot of WF members are advertising WSO with videos having a lot of repetition and little useful materials. You end up spending a lot of time trying to understand what is there.

I believe, if you encounter such situations, it is just to send the producer an invoice.

You ARE joking here, right? Please tell me you're joking.

So in other words, if you walk into a store and spend your time looking for something you thought they were selling, but they weren't, then they should pay YOU for YOUR wasted time.

Yeah, the whole world owes you something.

      Why?

      You start watching the video.

First, the vendor says something that isn't useful.

Then he starts to repeat himself.

Me, I'm done. I'm out of his thread and I don't buy his stupid WSO. Why would you hang around? He clearly can't even explain what he's going to sell you, let alone anything worth buying. Move on.

If you hang around long enough to feel like you've wasted valuable time, it's not his fault. It's yours.

        Amen!

I get rather sick of all the whining and complaining around here. I am NOT blaming a scammer's actions on you, but you MUST take responsibility for your own actions, specifically, your own BUYING decisions.

Yes, there are a lot of scammers out there. Or people who don't exactly scam you per se, but just don't provide good value, customer service, etc. It's like spam. You can scream about it until you're hoarse, but you're just screaming into the wind. It's not going to do any good.

And creating "invoices" for wasted time might be a clever idea, but you're just wasting MORE of your time since it's not enforceable.

In IM, I long ago found IM mentors I could trust to listen to, buy from and get recommendations for other products and services. This is a small circle of people, but I know I can trust them implicitly as they have experience and results, AND high integrity. It's paid off in spades for me. Anything and anyone else I look at with a jaundiced eye. They are my core group of mentors and I suggest you find a similar group. It will save you a lot of grief.

The bottom line is that YOU are responsible for your own results, including your buying decisions. So get tougher about who you buy from. Find one or two people who are doing what you want to do, who have results AND integrity, and follow (and buy from) them. Then FOCUS! Put your blinders on and don't listen to anyone else.

If you buy from others outside of this core group and get taken for a ride... well, consider it the price of experience. We've all been there.

Guys, cut NestZone a little slack. If you read what he / she said, without jumping the gun, you will see the subject is WSO's with long repetitive videos that are a waste of time. Not the sales video that OP was talking about.

I believe just some confusion here.

And I totally agree, I hate long videos that don't just stick to the main points (as part of the WSO).

Of course, I could be wrong too.. but I believe the "with" isn't for advertising, but for the WSO. Advertising "WSO's that have videos" would have been clearer.

If your time actually had any value you wouldn't be spending it digging through internet marketing ads desperately trying to learn how to make money online. Rather, you'd be spending your time making money.

        Dude, harsh much?

If someone doesn't know how to make money online, what is wrong with buying a WSO to find out? I find it much worse to make a WSO full of long videos that end up wasting people's time.

Nothing wrong with working to learn. It wasn't the working to learn part I was pointing out... it's the value of time part.

If you don't value your time, why should the seller? In order for your time to be valuable you have to maximize your productivity... part of that is learning how to cut through the crap to find what you need.
