Becoming a Clickbank Vendor??

I've started creating info products. One of which I've created my own mini-site and am starting to advertise through several methods.

I know many people suggest Clickbank as a way to promote your info product, but I really don't know all that much about selling a product on Clickbank. I have a website, so that's a good start. Is it as simply as applying, getting accepted, and then (somehow) getting affiliates to promote the product? I don't know if my first product will ever be much of a financial success, as I kind of created it as a way to test out the process of making a product.

I really don't know what to ask as I've really only heard generic information about the topic, so any points and hints would be helpful.

Thanks,

Christian

Christian - just go to Clickbank and read the info they've posted there for vendors. It's pretty darn simple. If you have a website and a "thank you page" (where people go after they pay), then you're 90% of the way there (or more).

Listing on CB alone does not bring you an army of affiliates, but it makes taking payment EASY, and makes recruiting affiliates easier. You still need to recruit.

yes, you need to recruit affiliates alone, and is hard long-term job. Especially is your target market are not familiar with affiliate.

I dont now what is problem with american people, but they are usually so mind-closed. They will accept only their marketing plans, no mater if they can earn 100 times more money like an affiliate. Really dont understand them. Small countries people are much more open minded...

Huh? I don't understand where you're going with your second paragraph.

          Or the first

Anyway, you could list your product with JV brokers. Affiliates are always looking for converting offers just like you're looking for them to promote it. I haven't tried them yet myself but I've heard a lot of people talking about JV Zoo lately.

Now that's something interesting. One of the reasons I started to produce info products is to basically have other people do the selling for me. I don't have much traffic going to my site, so I don't don't have any numbers that JV and affiliates may like to promote a product, but they can go on the snazzy website and what the product is.

Do you have a list or know of other JV/affiliate sites? Thanks.

Its very easy to sell on clickbank and they often help you if you screw up while you are listing your product for sale and the approval process is very simple.

Though go and have a read through the clickbank pages because there is a lot of free information available to you.

Congrats on completing your first product! They say it is better to complete a product rather than perfecting it.

I have sold products through clickbank and the process is very easy. There are some guidelines on what they will accept. Also there is a fee to become a vendor. I think it is around $50.

There are other sites that can do this as well like PayDotCom.com.

The most important thing is to build a list of affiliates. There are lots of ways to do this and you can PM me if you wants some tips.

Another option would be to use the $7 script which processes sales, delivers the product, shows OTO's if you have them and allows affiliates to promote your product.

It will also pay your affiliates immediately. Affiliates love this rather than waiting for a check.

The script itself costs $7. There is some setup involved on your end but it is effective.

If you want to go with Clickbank, that's what you do ... sign up and see if they approve it or not. You won't instantly get affiliates just by getting accepted to Clickbank. You'll have to work to get affiliates.

Another option is to just run your product as a WSO and use an instant pay Worpdpress plugin like this one to create your own affiliate instant pay program

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ales-page.html

Then you could link to your affiliate page in the WSO to get people to sign up.

But it will be costly at any rate if you don't have a lot of confidence in this product selling. Beef it up some more and make it irresistible.
