I just watched an eye opening video talking about the algorithms Google and Facebook use to determine what shows up in each individual's search results.
It was rather intersting as it went on to state that the internet's perceptual filters were being based on personalization, which would give each searcher different information resulting in isolating each individual into their own bubble of information.
