Facebook App Profile Page is Gone! Can't apply App to Page

I have been creating facebook fan pages for a long time, I used to go to the App profile page and apply the app to a fanpage tab. Apparently that is going away. So I created a new App and from there at the bottom I used the "Create Facebook Page" button, which is supposed to create a facebook fan page from the app. It did do that, but now I am not able to create a custom landing tab, that leads them to the fanpage I created. Has anyone been able to create a fan page and apply their app to it with a custom landing tab?

When people land on the fan page this is what they should see apps.facebook.com/isocialdesign/

    If your trying to add an app to a page you can use this link

    facebook.com/add.php?api_key=YOUR_APP_ID&pages=1

    Just replace YOUR_APP_ID with the app id of the app you like to add, hit enter and select the fan page you want to add the app to. After that you can select that app as the default landing tab under Edit Page -> Manage permissions.
